Absolutely amazing so far man, hope it turns out as well as the first.
Subscribed, I've always wanted to get an all-in one setup like this.. stupid college.
Very nice mod...
I'll wait more pictures!!!
@lazy, here you find the first one.
@Fujimitsu,I hope it will be better than the first one. And it lost weight. The first one was very heavy.
@BND|MOD, I hope tomorrow today is was to late home from my work. ;)
Since people have been asking about it that seems to be this case that they recently released in two tone, with wheels, and the card holder removed.

No it's an evolved iteration of the PC-70 and PC-71 cases. But you got the case right on NewEgg. It comes in black or silver. The PC-A71 has a front door and the PC-A70 doesn't. Here is a video review:

now that's something new... so basically any plexi, you can use to give nice even lighting along the edges?
so if i sandwich a plexi under the MB tray and pop some light into it, then the entire bottom edge of it will light up?
@Apokalipse, exactly. Make one. ;)
@kinghong1970, yes I can give light along the edges. And also yes as answer for your mobotray.
@lazy, here it is. ;)
Today I started with the file job. It’s a job that takes some time. I must be careful. It’s small and Plexiglas
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/87.JPG
This is not so hard.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/88.JPG
This part will be exiting. I do it step by step. Maximum peace of Plexiglas between 2 grips 5 cm. File that part. Move the grips and do the same again.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/89.JPG
And not broken. :rocker:
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/91.JPG
Also for the other parts that I must file. I use the iron (Dutch name angle line) When I hit the iron with the file. It’s ready. ;)

Some close up photos.

Next part for tomorrow. ;)
ediejo, some advice here... i am very curious and want to try the plexi sheet under MB tray thing... question is, how much light source will i need?
i will be cutting holes in the MB tray for cable management but was curioius if one light supply via led at center of plexi is enough to supply light all around the edges of a plexi sheet size of a MB tray PLUS carry light around the cut holes and such?
thanks!
I want to put a window in the side of my case, which is almost finished.
One question I have is, how can I mount the window on the side?
I have:
a piece of plexiglass
several drills (including a cordless)
a jigsaw
rivets
one of those things you put rivets in with (I don't know what it's called)
plenty of screws, washers etc
lots of files of various shapes and sizes
I'm also getting some rubber trim
@kinghong, you need about 20 led’s to light up the edges from Plexiglas MB tray thing.
@Apokalipse, drill some holes in the side panel. Keep the plexi bigger than the holes in your side panel. Place the plexi. Drill the holes again but now in the Plexiglas. Like this. Clic
@crash5s, I think the side panel is the same as from the pc-70. ;)
And continue with the file job from the backside.
First lock up the Plexiglas again.

Almost nothing to see but I am try to file here.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/98.jpg
And straight.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/99.jpg
Next part. ;)
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/100a.jpg
First part done. Only the fan hole to go.

But that’s for tomorrow.
Checkout how the light is transferred in this side window.
Snapper cut a thick piece so it's rebated through the opening.

Creative as ever! I'm following your build keenly.

Jedda that window is cool, relatively minor change but it looks soo much cooler sticking out like that.
Looking good ediejo, I'm following this closely.
thanks for the input guys... i think i may have to find alternate solution as i fear it will interfere with the cables that will go under the MB...
but thanks again for the input.
great build ediejo!
Great stuff again Eddie, jeez man you rock !!!, I love Plexi but damn it's so fragile, you do much better than me hehehhe I only tend to break stuff
And continue with the fanhole.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/105.jpg
The worst part is coming..
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/106.jpg
When there is 2 mm of aluminum behind the Plexiglas it’s much.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/107.jpg
And now way to use the iron to clasp it.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/108.jpg
I keep it a little bigger. I think when I make it smaller it breaks.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/110.jpg
Use sanding paper for the edges and I like t this way.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/109.jpg
It starts to look something.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/111.jpg
Next part same story but this time aluminum.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/112.jpg
Drawing the contours from the plexi on the aluminum.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/113.jpg
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/114.jpg
And sawing the aluminum.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/115.jpg
Still some file and sanding work to do.
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/116.jpg
And polishing but that’s for next week. ;)
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/117.jpg
http://www.ediejo.nl/Foto/ELL2/118.jpg
It will be a worse job to put some led’s in the small plexi but I try it.
