At least you can get 3.6 stable! I can't get it ORTHOS stable at all, no matter how much vCORE, vFSB or vMCH I give it. :(
No matter, this CPU will go into my server/folding box and I'll get another CPU for my main rig.
"B" are better to overclock than "A" isn't it? The only good cpu's I have seen with an "A" were the L625A, L630A and 1 L637A. Good "B" cpu's were L628B till L632B. I have had an L625A (3.6GHz 1.42V prime), an L628B's (3.6GHz 1.4V) and I am testing another L628B..does 3.2GHz with 1.168V..still testing :D
He's just bull crapping Rodney.
My L628A wont be stable at 400mhz not even with 1.60v
Max I got it stable was 333mhz LOL! Tried 350mhz FSB and nothing, orthos fails, not even with 1.40v.
I dont know if my RAM is holding me back, but Im pretty sure is my CPU the one that sucks.
As long as you can do 3600 400x9 with less than 1.45 you are fine
L632b419?
L628A Malay
1.68v watercooled @ Commando w vdroop
(dont look the number :P...it was just to figure where it stops...and i m not shure if it stops there...
holy moly
nice CPU
what sort of ambient are we talking there
So what batches should i be looking for? Any with the "B"? I am not having to much luck finding any. Thats holding me back on building my system. :(
