What I mean is, the board's performance is excellent, and it does great 4:5, seems like they got just about everything put together, but not having secondary timings in BIOS completely gets in the way of letting it let memory stretch its legs. i.e. its a major flaw, but about its only one. No, I don't have one, and that's the reason why.

ah ok i actually just re-read your post again and see exactly what you mean.....not sure why i needed clarification;.....sorry about my brain fart there heh

hopefully abit can get that sorted out........................:(
i just have a negative view of Abit's bios teams since the AN8 Ultra days :(

reason i ask for CAS5 as well is to see whether the board can manage really high MHz but if your RAM isn't capable it doesn't matter

i found out that the RAM subtimings on this board are not available through bios which is a real shame :slapass: >>> knowing Abit it will take a long time if ever for them to listen to end users and introduce things like that in the bios :(

Exactly , sorry

I have test at home : 6400 / 6600 / Q6600 with Abit Quad GT :

E6400 : 523mhz max
E6600 : 513mhz max (524mhz with Vmch @2.2v)
Q6600 : 423mhz max

Maybe I put vMCH today, I got only 516MHz @ 1.7V (no v-mod) with icewater (+8C) 3DMark stable. I really want FSB @ 530-540MHz for my E6600.:rolleyes:

....what do you know,just pour some LN2 in the pot and my cpu and Abit was flying:D ...too bad the abit is dead now:( .....but fun, the Xeon 3060@5ghz at only 1.63vcore bios:cool: ......god damn, that chip got moore left.....

Arrrrgggghhhhh, I can't get my AB9 QuadGT to work with high PSB (>400) on my E4300 and I've tried all multipliers. :mad: What could it be, the board or the CPU? :(

It could be the strap E4300 (800 not 1067)

that day's humidity was very low. so. nothing to need for insulating ^^; on -2 cellcious

I'll make a Aluminium NB pot for CO2 at work, just for fun. :rolleyes:
One question came in my empty stoopid mind, what's the distance of NB holes? I think it's about 58-60mm but does anyone know exactly the distance "mm"? I'm gonna do the 3mm spins with screwing tap on the bottom of the pot..or is it better to do straight "free" 4mm holes for long screws? :stick:

I did some quick tests today with my brand new Quad GT.
These are results so far:

Max fsb (E6600)

Max mem speed :mad: (600Mhz with cas 5 timings)

This board is not good with my mushkin XP2 memory, it can do only 560MHz with 4-4-4-6.

vmch= 1.9V , cooled with water.
