Regardless of motives, someone has come to offer some NEWS to all and for that we should say thank you. He may not be allowed to say anything else but was permitted to let "slip" that a fix is coming.

I agree that this is fairly useless as there is no clue as to what the fix IS, but the harsh treatment is also unnessecary, on both sides. This thread should just be closed and move on, until the actual fix is known, and is due to be released or something.

The fix is known, eVGA will swap your board with a newer revision. Read here, jAkUp already posted the link on the previous page.

There's no 6-pin power connector, there's an 8pin EPS +12V and a standard 4pin molex.

good point. Ive been wondering what the hell could cause a board that clocks dual cores so well NOT to clock quad core for crap. The 965 and 975 boards dont seem to have a problem..

Has to be GTL resisitor mods.

Take 20 CPU's run them on a board with POTS for GTL and take the average resistance that give the best FSB results. hardware mod the boards to have these values (usually just core 2 and 3 need the mod) and rerelease the boards as FSB fixed.

Someone please post a high res pic of the GTL resistors so we can compare and we will know for sure.

Kudos to eVGA for being willing to swap boards that are technically not broken in any way! Could have just released the board revision as 1333 compatable.

Cant hlp this next bit...to the trolls.... dont congratulate anyone who gets a good result with ES hardware from now on, dont encourage anyone to post details of anything they`re working on unless its finished and open for discussion, dont encourage anyone who has access to cherry-picked hardware. Is it envy or jealousy?

Not broken... I think not being able to use a PS/2 Keyboard/mouse is not working like it should.. I hope this new revision fixes this problem, because it sucks not being able to run your computer at 100% load.

The PS/2 ports are working fine on the new board, but tbh I use USB keyboard & mouse, but I did test the PS/2 ports with a 450Mhz FSB on the new board and they appeared to be fine.

just buy USB keyboard/mouse that's what i replaced to get it going OK:)

I have an 8 port PS/2 DVI, KVM.. :banana::banana::banana::banana: was like 500 bucks... No way in hell im going to buy another one.

This Mobo has a serious problem with PS2 devices ... but only in LOAD ... not in IDLE or surfing the NET ...

Not the new revision. Under load the PS/2 ports are working fine for me.

I have tried my E6400 in the board already and it runs exactly the same FSB with no problem 450x8 3600Mhz. The new board only improves quad core FSB speeds.

yeah its a bad ass switch, but I cant break open this E6300 which sucks, So I'm thinking about throwing the board away, and getting a Athlon 64 6000+ Heard alot of people clocking them to like 3.5GHz.
