abit Announces Fatal1ty F-I90HD MicroAtx Motherboard

Ok, don't tell me nobody saw this...

A (somewhat) high end board, with a well known gamer's name plastered on it, which will more than likely be used with higher end add in cards (sound, tv tuner, and of course video). They have the foresight to not include stupid useless crap like serial and parallel ports anymore, and they put the floppy connector down in an area that's more for "one time use" for that magikal F6 tapping when installing XP. Here's what blows me away though...

can this be used in laptops?

I really like the inclusion of HDMI.

I really don't like the board though purely on the Fatal1y branding. From the groos red color schemes on all the products to the l33t sp33k it rubs me the wrong way. Bleh.

Finally a nice C2D HTPC board. Ive been needing something to replace that sorry ass piece of :banana::banana::banana::banana: known as the DFI RS482.

Its funny to see people bag on a layout of a htpc board. I guess you guys never built a HTPC before... No need for the floppy however if you look at the floppy drive place on a HTPC case, the location is fine. The board comes with a HDMI - DVI converter.

This is going to work well with my 47" 1080P in the bedroom. I dont even care if it overclocks.. I want something reliable and the X700 is not a bad intergrated video.

Feb 23 in Europe huh? Wonder when it hits the egg? My bday is the 23rd, so this would be a nice present for myself :D

Once again take a deep breath and realize it isn't for running your 6600 @ 3.6ghz, its an htpc board. You throw a 500 to 750gb hard drive on it and build a monster dvr.

If your in the UK dont bother buying from YOYOtech as the have put the price up after only one day of sales. Trying to milk you of all your hard earned cash. It like trying to buy a PS3 on the first day. Dont bother wait for the reviews and then if the reviews say that the board can clock, buy it, but dont buy from YOYOtech..... Money grabbing */%$'s

wowzers! just got in and was about to start goin off on how cool this board is. lol. i havent installed an OS yet so i'm just goin on bios oc'n... got a nice 350x7 goin though... i'll push it more later tonight when i have more time to install an os and actually see what it can do. :D now i'm contemplating which mobo to get rid of... hehe... p5ne or p5b deluxe... hrmm... here's a few pics to tide you all over. :D
