my p5w dh stopped @ 2.0v (win crash, restart and no signal only if I cut down the vcore), I think all mobo do the same, so you have the chance to 5.8 or more, who knows :cool:
more volts is not always better, we tried more volts to, but it didn't help
I am quite sure that 5800 is possible, the CPU is not even lapped, but I will not do any benching with this cpu anymore.

Even though IMO it may make a difference if you lapped it.
Could have made a good 5.5+ Ghz benching chip, which is hella rare, and the key to smashing WRs around the globe (with 2x 88GTX or CF? I dunno).
And you are on 975x there, hell of a advantage over those with P5B-Dx.
