And why its called Opteron 1220? I dont think AMD will name the K8L cpus same as the K8 cpus. I would name it Opteron 2440 or something that sounds more powerfull.

madcho, cpu-z would reconize SSE4A if it knows what it is.
If SSE4A != SSE4 != SSSE3 it may simply ignore it.

SSE4A SSE4 SSSE3 are all very different things

The Opteron 1220 is a dual core cpu that works at 2.8GHz, since cpu-z doesn't know wich cpu is it calls it an Opteron...

Good news is that AMD's roadmap says K8L comes first to the Opterons, including 1xxx series (AM2 socket). So we might be able to get 1xxx AM2 K8L Opterons in late Q2, before the launch of Stars series.

Question is, there is no CPU with Ext Model B3 on market, that's what intrigues me.

Did your friend hide the vcore or he asked you to do?
Do you know the vcore of that cpu?

as far as B3 ... isn't that 130nm Opteron S940?

Maybe because Franck (AKA cpuz and the programmer of cpuz) said it's fake and your friend has been failing to provide a validation for three days now which is something you can get in one click.

On the fake image is listed a K8 CPU, which means that the application recognized it as a K8. If it is a K8 CPU, then the application will not search after L3 cache.
