for my backup and storage system. I was planning on just putting an old single core chip in there. But now, the 65nm chips' prices are so low, I might be changing my mind.
So what do you think are the chances of getting a brisbane in there and booting up?
probably pretty good, though isn't that board an overkill for personal backup and storage?Quote:

umm you do realize that SATA storage is a good deal cheaper than SCSI right?Quote:

Yeah, I realize that.Quote:

so, where's the results?
what exactly type of results are you looking for?Quote:

NN_Step I would like to see results from Cinebench x64, WinRAR compression, PCMark5 and if you have time then pls try to boot OS @1.9GHz/0.9V ;) (CPU-Z screen would be awesome).

Mine does 2.85ghz (300x9.5) on 1.35v. I havent tried higher because my BIOS is having temp issues, says its at 60c (its obviously not, HSF Is cool to touch) so I dont wanna hurt my little cpu just yet.
Right now im running 290x9.5 @ 1.325v 24/7
As long as dual mprime runs stable you can't damage the CPU. It is unstable from heat much earlier than it breaks from heat.Quote:
