evercool vc-re should fit on sb ya?
looks like the dfi chipset fan...
anything new ? i wonder why there arent any reviews around the net yet ?
Something sucks here really bad. All stores expect it on stock from tomorrow and not a single review anywhere.
On top of that every single thread that started showing some results for this mobo has suddenly stopped where the JUICY info should be published (like high FSB options). ANd ofc an excuse has been given for that.
How hard is it to set a 400FSB and test this damn thing for 5 minutes at 450FSB. Not hard at all. Since there is no NDA(or is it?) why none reviews this (apart from Cortale). Is this board doomed with 680i issues as well? What else can it be?
Ofc I am not blaming ABIT if they don't realse it to publice in case its problematic such us the many beta boards out rushed to market.
I really rushed and bought a second 8800GTX and now I need a freaking 680i board, because if it was not for that I would not pay NVidia any more money for their disgusting behaviour to their customers (hint 680i reference boards).
Lets see if a Revision 2 of all those boards comes out or they will fix the issues with BIOS updates.
Do you have sound issue with SLI ?
the VC-RE does look like the DFI stock fan, however it totally kicks butt of that whiny thing!
already ordered it... :) plus tuniq tower
http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=7570 650i :hehe:
re below: that's interesting
Asus is coming out with a revised version of The ASUS P5N32-E SLI.
"The ASUS P5N32-E SLI is under going an update to the Plus version that features revised electrical components, BIOS changes, and new accessory items. We expect to have a review sample shortly"
http://www.anandtech.com/tradeshows/...spx?i=2905&p=3
But the point is when?
Most definately ABIT has a "revised" version of the initial board shipping and I hope the took the time to test it properly.
Lets see.
IN9 32X MAX WIFI now in stock in uk store. Mine arrives Monday:woot:
This thing better be worth the wait nad the money.
Well next week or even tomorrow there will be info and benches about it so we will see.
However OCUK charges an outrageous price for it! I really doubt there has ever been any m/b that expensive before.
I have found it for 30% less in Germany (300 Euros) and the Striker is going for 299 Euros in Greece too. So 430 Euros is unacceptable at least!
But to give them some credit they are the only ones having it in stock and they sell the high end version with Wi-Fi so we will see how much the rest will charge when they actually have it in stock rather than in words.
So Vendeta lets see some results and info about the bundle and then I will order.
I just found out a small store five minutes from my house is getting some on Tuesday and they may be cheaper than ocuk. Ah well, teach me to be impatient. I could have saved money on the price and delivery.:mad:Quote:

Voltage measurements
Vcore, measured at filtering capacitors just over the socket.
BIOS: 1.350V
Real voltage, idle: 1.320V
Real voltage, load: 1.289V
~30mV of droop from idle to load, nothing that upsets me. I hope the gap doesn't increase in the higher ranges, will check that later. The voltage is very stable, no fluctuations at all.
Vdimm, measured in the DIMM-socket itself:
BIOS: 2.300V
Real, idle: 2.250V
Real, load: 2.248V
Minimal droop and also very stable. 50mV offset from what is set in BIOS, so that needs to be taken into consideration. I'll tell them to see if it's possible to adjust this.
yep uk has it in stock now apparently...hopefully not too far away.
nice voltage report...
personally i'd like to see stability etc at around 1.6v (real) - i dont think i would be pushing my conroe above 1.55-1.6v due to heat; im only on aircool
anyway someone's bound to push this board to the limit very soon...
do you guys think that this board will pwn the dfi rd600? because coolaler already did 533 fsb over at the new dfi-street.
i want to see more examples besides coolaler; but why wouldnt dfi bring out a better product?- all they have to do is tweak their board design after all the other manufacturers have shown their cards - i dont want to wait that long.
i think theyre just trashing it because its the last ati chipset for intel and theyre releasing so little; 200 for n. america.
oh; i was thinking about the dfi 680i, not rd600.....i looked at the thread for rd600 - doesnt look too flash to me in the fsb department - so i would be agreeing with you about rd600 i spose. i bet plenty of cf fans will buy rd600 however.
no fsb max, no stability bench ...
could make more for demonstrate this is a good mobo ?
sound / sata issue ?
please
Soon there will be results I from others since the board is on sale and people have already recieved some already. From Monday more will be in the market and we will see proper reviews.
wonder if the chipset is hot ...
Don`t you find it strange nobody is posting any results with this board yet!
Weird really weird first coolaler and now crotale.
Come on people the board is out post results! Unless it is CRAP!!
Track this thread too waiting for results:

Nelly has this and is setting up the PC as we speak so later tonight we can expect results.
I really hope this doesn`t turn out to be a turkey, mine`s coming Monday. I`ve been watching Nelly`s progress all day waiting for soom good news.Quote:
