When i run bus 429 (1716QDR) linked ---> sync bus Ram = 858DDR2
Vcore in Bios and Windows was 1.525v

Any setting in Vcore is not affect , and the board seems automatic set the Vcore depend on the bus running

So anyone can help me ?

i'm able to change my v-core. Here are my bios (0402beta) settings:
in extreme tweaker tab:
Ai tuning->set this to manual
System clocks pciex1 100
" " 2 100
" " 3 100
spp-mcp ref 200
fsb-memoryconfig unlinked
fsb qdr set here your busspeed digits
memory set here your memory freqency

In the overvoltage part:

V-core: set here your desired v-core instead of the "auto" function
In my bios -> hardwaremonitor->voltages it gives me 1.42 if is set in v-core 1.45 , so you must be able to change this value.

Ok , i tried the same setting of you and can not fix it :(

No matter what Vcore i set (not "auto"), it only shows correct the value (1.325v) when the CPU bus = 266 to 300

When bus > 300 , it will jump up Vcore = 1.425v
Bus > 400 , Vcore = 1.525v
Regardless unlinked or linked

Bios 0302 and 0402 are same

So the board need to be RMA ?

i believe its a BIOS problem with ASUS.. its not the board.. all P5N32-E SLI *NON-plus* ones have the same issue.. only bios which doesnt is 0302 for nonplus.. =)

0302 is the shipped Bios and it has same problem with 0402 beta

But why only my board has this weird problem ??

Finally i checked Vcore with DMM and it showed the same in Bios and Windows
So my board id a weird thing , it increase Vcore when bus increasing.

I will rma this thing tomorrow and get a Commando

commando its not bether than p5n32 e sli plus,look at review of hardocp,plus get gold award ,and commando get silver award,its a difference.

I haven't understand...with tihis motherboard is impossibile set manual CPU vCore? For ex. my E6300 need 1.275V for 2.8Ghz[400x7], if I put it on the P5N32-E SLI Plus the only choice will be 1.425V ??

did you flash your bios to the latest version?

i forgot in the dust ,asus,i chose evga 680i sli ,its bether than asus p5n32 e sli plus or non plus or striker extreme.

Hi guys,
I too have a P5N32-E SLI Plus, and currently an E6600, with OCZ 8500 (1066mhz) REAPER HPC ram. The prob is I cannot get the memory to run stable @ stock on this board.
Can someone who has oc'd this board successfuly please post all the relevant settings needed for stability (ie in Extreme Tweaker).
I'm getting really frustrated now :-l
