Homing in on 4GHz.
I just can't manage to get this board to boot at 443MHz, i tried the Vmch pencilmod but it didn't work out well.
For some reson i only measure 1.3V with my DMM when i set 1.5V in bios.
Result so far looks promising:

12.5xx done @ sub 4GHz. :)
Took some tweaking to get there, i had to boot at 9x435 which is barely stable enough to boot into windows, open memset and set trd from 6 to 7.
Then it was nice and stable and could work my way up with ClockGen, 4022MHz was the best i could do with 1.585Vcore and watercooling.
That kinda makes me member of the 4GHz club right? :D
Congrats. :) Fast clocks and fast score.
Tnx Gautam.
I wonder what trd@6 would have brought though.
Oh well, you can't have it all. ;)

Damn I hate my ram, board > ram incompatibilty, wont POST with manual timings.
So im stuck at 5-5-5-18-2T:(
Anyway my quickest time is 16.360s, il get a screeny in a min, this was at 3.65GHz (E6400) BTW, my ram craps out after that, (455FSB IIRC)
Looking good... sub-50000 performance score :D

My mounting was cracking while taking the screenshot... :)
You haven't officially gotten me yet, you're 3.6MHz above the cutoff. :D :sofa:
But seriously, :slobber: 49xxx at 4 GHz is jaw-dropping. Completely destroyed everyone else in this thread. :hehe:
I knew 2:3 400MHz on 965 was fast...but THAT fast?? Perhaps I need an i965 board now. ;)
and with 2x512... Am waiting on ram to do 12.5 but this is incredible.
@ before, can you try 10x399? A very decent time though regardless. Yes, like they said, with 965 and 2-512's. 32m would be interesting.

Nice one!
Working on tabulating all this stuff for the first post...its an interesting way to show which memory configs work best, all normalized at one CPU speed.
Heres an old one, using 2x1GB G.Skill and an Anus P5W DH

There's only so much I can do with i975X bro. Find me a better time done on that chipset and I'll agree...
When will you receive the Commando? :D
nobody told you to use a i975 board ;)Quote:

Awesome RAM frequency there! Amazing for i975X. Too bad 2x1024 can't do the same. :-/
