I was wondering when the OCX v XS would raise it's head.

The problem is that these tweaks, if they are tweaks, have been discovered only in Taiwan and yet the combined might of the rest of the world, including Japan, has not discovered them. Is that reasonable?

If it is then they should say the secret like in 3dmark where Pedro and Ricky gave a clue to Macci and then the rest of the benching community benefitted :toast: Oh no, you cry, they do not have to give the secret away.

But then I say to you no matter how those benches were acheived they are not VALID to a lot of people here because they do not follow the mathematical statistics and therefore are bogus without explanation.

Remember guys, this does not have to be about cheating.

Do not take this as an accusation of cheating.....people are looking for explanation as to why and how, with sufficient evidence that the results were produced with publicly available materials along with the skills of the individual.

That is my 2 cents.

Guys, once again, the analysis only applies to scores well above 4 GHz. (The lowest included in this set of data was at 4251MHz)

This was only done to show a wide amount of data points. Only high speeds are relevant here as we're talking about 5.5GHz+ speeds anyways.

This is a piss poor way to go about asking for an explanation (aka whats your tweak). As I stated earlier, this should have and could have been handled in a more appropriate manor. I am very disappointed that this sort of questioning is aired in public. I expect more of this community.

I don't see anything inappropriate about it. I see numbers and graphs clearly laid out.

No one's on trial here either. Some data is laid out, some questions are being asked. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah both coolaler and opb is Taiwanese and can it maybe have something todo with that both know the tweak? Maybe they're friends and tell eachother tweaks and such in order to improve. Like when two guys are exchanging ideas to get a better result?
Is it a written rule that Japan must be the best country when it comes to SuperPi?

as it was stated, spi times with freqs doesnt scale linearly, when in 3GHz range, below 50000 is not a problem, in 4.5GHz it's really hard in 5.5GHz it is imposible, just read the 1st topic please

This has been aired on the moderators forum for a while here. I am not an expert in 2d benching but I have had a lot of experience of 3d benching and we have been lucky for a lot of years in that we have had experienced benchers who have been able to do human policing of the results as well as futuremark. People like macci, Oppainter etc.

Here you seem to be lacking this. No questioning at all and when it is finally brought out into the open with graphs you stick your head in the sand and don't want the status quo to be questioned it seems.

All we want is a possible explanation to why those results are better than average that we can think about. Nobody yet has given an answer that is reasonable or is worth chewing over.

Speaking from a totally impartial point of view, I don't really know OPB or have a special loyalty to XS...

I can completely understand why some people would find the sudden decrease in SPi times to be a little suspect, but as has been debated time and again it is possible to fake pretty much anything... So, all we can rely on to give any kind of authenticity is reputation and integrity and personal run-ins aside as far as I've been able to tell OPB has always been straight up in that regard.

My suspicion is that they have a new tweak and to force them to reveal it would be unfair to them. If they've put the work in to find a tweak then fair play to them, let them have their glory for now and when the time is right they'll let everyone else in on the secret as they always have in the past.

What I tried to say is that OPB is a good superpi bencher, he uses most likely the best tweaks, people want to know but he don't want to share, people try to get the tweak from him by not directly calling him a cheater but making the community reacting like "If you don't tell us you're a cheater".

I don't think everyone are idiots since I've not meet a single guy from here, juding by internet behaviour ain't fair really.

This thread just confirms that coolaler and opb is superior when it comes to superpi. As it's stated by moderators, they don't blame them for cheating they just says it's something that makes them better then others.

Did anyone contact these people and ask the question why are your scores so good before posting this thread? If so what was the response? Just because someone put info into a graph or chart does not make it fact. And if there responses are, we are better than you at tweaking do you label them cheaters, as you have clearly already stated that there results are not legit in the original post. My problem is the way this questioning is being handled, period.
