Well you hve written several things which tell me why your having problems.

You siad it was HOT in there. Your CPU can only operate at or above ambeitn temp. And that would be with a watercooling kit capable of droopinh the temp near ambeint.

Then you said "dust off" which tells me your HSF may in fact be so caked with dust it's simply not able to do its job, and in most cases you can't see the extent of the dust.

Resolve:

open your PC case and leave the side panels off. This should get it closer to ambeint temp.

remove your HSF and thoroughly clean it. clean you CPU with isopropyl alcohol the higher the percentage the better for example 90%, don't go lower then 80% IMHO.

Opening your case up and removing the side panels will probably drop temps immediatly.

Sorry for the way late reply. The DFI never floated my boat, you pateince with the board and a good understanding of memory. My 1212 got me some great 3.0GHz performance on my Asus M2N32-SLI I loved that board. Problem was the first BIOS version to support Opties was cursed. If you doubt me simply Google "BIOS 903 memory issues" You'll find the bios effected M2N32-SLI ownersb the world over mostly rendering their systems un-bootable. I belaive the BIOS actually damaghed memory and have a few kits to prove it and some I sent some ram to who had to RMA the board afterwords.

Once flashed with a newer BIOS the board was fine and remains the best Opty AM2 SLI, DDR2 overclocking platform. Then I traded for the DFI Inifity ULTRAII-M2/G which also gives 300FSB or 3.0GHz performace. Memory performance is the platforms greatest attribute and it's worst obstacle.

eee i resolved those matters... now the board is completly outside of the case and sitting on the table everything running and ive removed the dust from my fan too.. but is there some sort of voltage that i must add to the chipset at some point? because ive tried a couple of combination and it always hangs...

ps.. here's a pic to show how i hooked up my rig.. i know the front pannel is laying around but i didnt wanted to take chance by touching the wrong pin or so..
