I have mine (T800UX2GC5 - blue hetaspreader) currently running at DDR2-980 @4/4/4/8 @2.3V(bios) fully stable (with the Supertalent Memory Cooler above them). Can do also DDR2 1000 (same timings) @2.35V. Should be Micron IC's (but what exactly?).
A friend of mine got the T800UX2GC4 (blue - week 40 i think) 2 days ago and can do as much as DDR2 1000 @5/5/5 @2.3V! That's BS! He payed more and got worse IC's!
i am sure the newer C4 and C5 both using promos chip now
sad :(
everyone's doin' a mem chip switcharoo on us
Not Crucial or G.Skill...
...yet.
sorry... ALMOST everyone :)Quote:

at least their prices reflect the fact they are going to be micron (hopefully).
with crucial you'd almost have to expect micron... but micron what (low binned D9's or some other micron chips) is the question...
Yeah, I know.Quote:

I assume that the Crucial Ballistix 1000/800 will be GMH/GKX because of how they seem to be clocking.
I'm not sure about the 667.
crucial wont use anything else other than micrion ICs on their memory :p:Quote:

the 667 crucial Anniversary edition looks to be high binned GMH
Ballistix 1000 also has GMH, no way your getting a GKX for under 300$ :D
My T800UX2GC5 with silver heatspreaders, is week 19 (i've got it pretty early :) ) and can do 1075mhz 4-4-4-12 with 2.4v memtest stable. Haven't tried higher...Quote:

I got my T800UX2GC4's (Blue Heatsinks) from newegg today. Pulled the heatsink they all say s0079303PEDPA on them. I did research on them about a month ago and they where great. Now there using some cheap chips on them. Wonder if it would be worth it to return them? There week 49, ran memtest on them for 17 hours at 400fsb with 4 4 3 8 @ 400 and they got no errors.
Have you tried overclocking them yet? As an unknown chip they may be monsters.
HA! I've got Week 13! Beat ya there Joe! :p:Quote:
