andrea ,i see your also running sli ,do you have the sound problems aswell ?on the asus board?people are saying 680 boards have problems with sound when running sli,can you test this for us? thanks

what is max Vcore in BIOS? Only 1.6V? Why eVGA have 1.8V and this only 1.6V?

It's 1.90V VCore in BIOS dude.

Which yields how much after droop?

Maybe 1.80V :) Heck knows, I gues it also depends on board revision and such.

The problem is official now, and nvidia is working on this, as stated here by an official eVGA Tech-guy


Could you please test whether this bug is alive on the Asus Striker Mainboard as well?

Just plug in any soundcard you want and play some games with 8800 SLI ENABLED. (Gothic3 demo would be perfect).

If there is a major design flaw with all 680i mainboards, the world has to know.

Haha, it means they don't validate their products properly...some shortcuts and beta testing missing.....

I have one EVGA myself, tried MSI GTO SLI, it worked. Now running a single 8800GTX, one does not need more for the moment.

Good to know, let's see how quick they fix it.

0403 BIOS is better but still not up to 400.

So the cause of your non-responses is : there is a sound bug ?

Can you tell us, you have the mobo an SLI , so tell please.
