You've popped open your blocks and pump and checked for corrosion? What's your fluid mixture in the loop?

i've bought a used innovatek setup for 80€ for my ofice pc. it uses an huge passive alu-konvektor, an alu res, eheim pump and cool-matic (copper-alu) for 6600, jst bought it because i wanted to have my office-pc without any fans at all.

this setup now runs since 2 years without changing water or anything else and i don't get any corrosion issues, seems like this innovaprotect stuff works pretty good but i'll never use a setup like this for my gaming rig:fact:

so if you use innovateks anti corrosion-stuff (innovaprotect) you are not going to have any issues, but if you use pure distilled water like i do it in my swifty loop you'll run in a lot of problems:fact:

I do apologize, I did not see that part of the post, should have asked Santa for a new pair of glasses if I hadn't been so naughty.

That loop was reassembled last month, neither the aluminum parts nor copper parts had any visible corrosion. My mixture in that loop was BASF Glysantin G48 aka G11/demineralized Water 15%/85% replaced every 2 years, although in newer loops I switched to BASF Glysantin G30 aka G12+ at 10% concentration.
