Eva of all the mobos youve tested so far, both with the kents and reg 6600 which would you recomend for someone (ME) to buy, im thinking of a P5B DLX but Im not quite sure about e6600 or q6600..
Wish I could find a nice priced Q6600 for sure..

- Max super pi times = P5W DH then P5B Deluxe
- Max memory clocks = P5B Deluxe, 680i striker and DFI ICFX3200
- SLI = Asus 680i striker
- Max raid setup/stability = P5W DH and D975XBX - just started to play with raid for 680i striker handy as it has 6xSATA native ports http://i4memory.com/showpost.php?p=56688&postcount=2 and haven't tried for DFI ICFX3200
- Easiest to setup and go = Intel D975XBX and P5W DH
- Least amount of issues i.e. does what it's spec'd to do = Intel D975XBX and then P5W DH
- For kentsfield max FSB = P5B Deluxe ~400FSB, then 680i striker ~340-350FSB, then DFI ICFX3200 ~400FSB with lower multi but get to default 9x for Q6600 hits 340-350FSB need to tweak GTL ref volts, then Intel D975XBX rev304 ~345FSB
For 24/7 rig I like stability and features of Intel D975XBX and Asus P5W DH. Asus 680i striker definitely for SLI.
N00bish question here, sorry.
I have an Intel D975XBX Badaxe rev306.
Do you think that there have been important improvements in rev306 regarding Core 2 Quads support?
Never mind, in the end I bought a Bad Axe 2.
I'll put the Bad Axe 1 and the E6600 in my "old" computer.
