Which ever i get, i'm going to water cool the NB, normal sink the SB, and probabyl bigger mosfet sinks or just a small fan on em. I think the asus design is a bit rediculous looking, and probably brings the price up quite a bit. Whats so difficult about a small fan on the NB though?
I hate heatpipes connecting things together. Like with ym P5b deluxe, the mostfets were just BAREALY being cooled becuase of a horribly thick thermal pad and only half the mosfets on only one side being cooled.
you guys act like asus doesnt know that people use aftermarket stuff.
certainly there will be room for better coolers. Personally i hate the heatpipe solution, but ill probably remove it anyway so i could care less. Get it clocking!
and don't forget this is the R.O.G. version, there should be another less.. artsy.. 680i mobo from asus.

Been there but this is not that bad w/ a PA120.3. I'm not trying for sub-ambient, that was fun but not something I want to dive into again to fast.
