It should work. THe only thing in CCC I could get to work and doesn't even show as an option is the "overdrive" function.Quote:

i installed package 6.10 for x1950pro
? overdrive works fine for me
i installed the 6.9 cat drivers for the x1950pro from ATi (didn't get any cd's or cables with my cards, just the crossfire bridges)

heres a 2005 bench with some higher memory clocks using beta 6.11
I had to reduce the image quality a bit with photoshop. Sorry.
Since I have 1950 PRO when i try to CCE a DDV it rebotes, PSU?
Trans am,
You can find BIOS files on mvktech.net. Here is a direct link to the ATI BIOS file section: http://www.mvktech.net/component/opt...tfolder/cat,1/
MVKtech is very resourcefull site, one should atleast have it in its favorites :)
On both HIS and Powercolor cards you can find Samsung 1,4ns RAM. Both cards overclock very familiar, stuck around 650MHz. While I higher PCI-E bus speed I see that I'm able to set higher GPU clock speeds, where at lower PCI-E bus speed the system would just hang when I set a too high GPU clock.
I think the problem is to low voltage on those cards, as both Powercolor and HIS are equiped with good heatsinks.
Let my clear my though why:
PCI-E bus speed (MHz): 105
Maximum GPU clock I could set (MHz): 648
Maximum bech GPU clock (MHz): 648
PCI-E bus speed (MHz): 120
Maximum GPU clock I could set (MHz): +690
Maximum bech GPU clock (MHz): 661

648/823. has anyone found any way to unlock voltage on these cards without hard vmod?
I also got two of these for a review on our site all i need is a CF bridge to do some crossfire :)
this is a single card test run @660/702

Oh and a question for everybody with 1950pro when u OC ur ram does the screen go blank/black? or is it just me....
lol i'm getting 5500 in 3dmark 2005....somethinig is fishy :P
that happens when i use ati toolQuote:

i think i must be doing something wrong
I'm going to buy this card, but i have a question.
The GeCube version has analogic PWM, instead of the digital PWM of the refernece board.
What card should i choose? the digital PWM one or the analogic?
I would think the analog would overclock higher with voltage increases.
i asked the same thing in my own thread, but the gecube also is 2-phase +1-phase for memory, think the cards are really held back by the pwmQuote:

Need to know, cuz I'm one of the impulsive buyers who bought the
ATi x1950PRO when it first came out at over $300 :p
BTW, wasn't it in some review that using any of the provided official
OC tools, like ATi tools buggered up this card?
Hi! I just bought two Shappire X1950 Pro to run in CF, do you mind if I post my results on here? I will get tomorrow. Thanks.
Edit: For people that don't the Internal CF Bridge, you buy it HERE.
Absolutely post results here. My 2nd card comes tomorrow. Can't wait:toast:
