Wow thats awesome :slobber:
Can't wait to see the final product.
wow i am speechless.
Hey guys, I'm struggling to replicate the lighting effects of the LEDs under the plexi. Can you give me some details i.e., size, colour, luminosity/brighness? Also, are the LEDs recessed within the plexi or sitting just below? I'm guessing they're recessed a little at least because it the plexi sits flat on the top of the case and the LEDs must be protruding through a little. To increase the intensity and spread of the light, have applied any reflective surface/finish to the underside of the stacker badge thingy (top, front)?
Hopefully you won't mind sharing these details with me. I really want to achieve the same effect but I am using darker, purple and black tinted acrylic, which may be the main problem.
Today sawed the last piece's out of the metal front.

Great modding skills. I wish I had as many tools as you do.
Few airflow questions though. The fan blowing onto the HDs at the bottom front of your case, where is that air being exhausted? Looked like you duct it to you PSU, but your PSU has a 120mm type fan.
Also, all the fans for your mobo compartment look like they're exhausting, where is the fresh air coming in? From your pics look like you have the fans on the rad sucking air off it.
But other the the airflow, nice work.
Today started spraying the boults..
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker238.jpg
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker239.jpg
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker240.jpg
And put the rest in varnisch.
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker241.jpg
And got a little visitor , look on top front plate between the holes.
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker242.jpg
A ………..FLY
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker243.jpg
Then there is only one thing to do , start over again.
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker250.jpg
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker251.jpg
Then continue on the front , prepare the holes for the reservoir.
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker244.jpg
Once one is on it's place , do the rest with the drill
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker245.jpg
The holes fit.
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker246.jpg
Musketeer also going in.
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker247.jpg
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker248.jpg
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker249.jpg
Because we couldn't wait to see how it looks , we where to fast with building it up again , and we damaged the paintjob on the top front piece.
So lets start over tomorrow.
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker252.jpg
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker253.jpg
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker254.jpg
http://www.ediejo.dnrhosting.nl/Case...stacker255.jpg
.
Because the opening between the plexi and metal is big , we decided to also spray the cover of the Musketeer and dvdrom , for details :P
We have 2 weeks more time left now , so why not use them. :)
My god, well done mate... Love the daily updates.
darn those flies...
What res is that?
With this speed, I wonder how far you've come in 2 weeks :D . Excellent work, my stacker will look boring compared to this :p:
that is an insane mod, I love it.

Good on ya' Ediejo!
Another thing I really like about this mod, is your collaboration. I feel like seeking someone in my area to collaborate on a project like this too. Particularly as I have all the tools (well most) and much of the skills. Electrical and electronics is my weekness. Oh, and watercooling. I've never done it before ;)
Looking really good guys, keep up the good work.
ps. I'm still keen to get more info on those LEDs and lighting effects when you get a chance
Snakez give GAM the details from the led's. Now he ask it again. So please give it. ;)
Looks like a AquaComputer Aquatube.Quote:
