i just got back, it was just as nicks said, ten million 8 year olds hogging everything. i got to play in the bf2142 tournament and watch some sick ddr action. the ps3 area was completely clogged, but the games did look great. when i saw the nintendo wii, i couldnt believe my eyes, that thing was the size of an external hard drive. the controller seemed pretty small though, not a big fan of that. the quadfather machine wasnt that exciting, just a bunch of apps running at once, no real specs, and the case didnt have a side window. it was funny that the kentsfield machines were out in the open, and the quadfather was in a corner behind the 2142 machines with nobody even paying attention to it...
Hey Nicks, why didn't you get a picture inside of a 4x4 Case?
Cause when I did CTRL+ALT+DELETE to see CPU usage graph (which you can see on video), the AMD rep lady FLEW over and I booked lol.
you should have done ctrl-shift-esc
far less noticable.

I chatted with her but not bout much. Talked to the ATi guy more, who knew a TON!!! I just about shat myself when I mentioned R600 and he goes "aww man, I can't tell u when thats out but it's gonna be GOOD."
you have to learn that the reps are VERY nice people.

Uh, yeah...black...green...Matrix, anyone? If it was truly meant to be "Quadfather" instead of "QuadFather" it would have been black and white. I think the banner company made a boo-boo due to thier own sub-conscious.

i dunno why anyone is excited by 4x4 quadfather, or whatever you want to call it.
I only get excited about the best, right now kentfield > 4x4
I still can't get excited about quadcore so this really leaves me cold. If I was interested in 4 cores then my main concern would be what the overclocking options are on these nvidia chipset based boards. Dual socket boards have tended to be poor, but if these are really aimed at the enthusiast crowd then maybe they will be better. You still will not have much real estate for two big heatpipe heatsinks though I would have thought.
Anyhow I will wait and see.

I am still blown away as to why they think "Quadfather" is a good brand name. Should have just left it 4x4.
I believe the image point fugger made was how the image actually relates it to the GodFather trilogy/book and thus relate the name to gangsters
