I can't even begin to fathom the points.

It will also give you the chance to bring it out in your converstion with the site admin. Just register the machines under XS_companyname, and show him the WCG device outcome as proof of "no errors", etc... or even better register the machines under XS_admin_initials. Who knows, he may get hooked.:)
guys this is for a MAJOR Airline...............they would not go for it.
The IT guys I work with are also contracted as well. The Primary IT (Bunch of paper pushers) would not even hear it................but to fantasize about it..........hehehe waht a tease.
Just that when I first walked in the room that was my first thought............
Yeah so I am a geek.
If I can get the pics off my phone I will post them here. Three stacks of PCs just laying around............muhahahahaha
send them an email! you would not even have to talk face to face. tell them that it would make them look good to the world:D :D and that we will always use them if they do it:D :D

Speaking of farms.
Cheapo 1.6ghz duron
@18$ a chip and with some cheapo boards and cards, just 512 stick of ram, wonder how many systems one could put together for really cheap. Talk about dedicated cruncher, not a lot of points, but not a alot of money either.
Hi Vodka. Who manufactures that grey/black case? It kinda looks like a Chieftec I have but it is even larger than mine. Lotsa room over the PSU in yours'. Obviously you then modded it for the WC apparatus, etc. But who makes the case?Quote:

Hey Phelan, I use my PDA to transfer pictures off my RAZR. bluetooth rules! if you don't have an ipaq surely some other geek in your dept has one!
I have quite a few computers here, and I thought I'd show a few of them.
I'm a single guy so I can basically put them anywhere. I have four in my dining room; two in cases on one table and two set up, caseless, on another table 90 degrees to my right.
In cases...
~ an X2/3800+ in an Ultra-D, cooled by a Mach II. Running a little north of 3 GHz.
~ an Opty 175 in another Ultra-D, cooled by an Arctic Pro 64, housed in a Global Win YCC-61F1. That case is one of my favorite all-time cases; aluminum, extremely roomy, extra wide and deep, uses 120mm fans. Running around 2.5 Ghz.
On the glass table, caseless...
~ an X2/3800+ in an Ultra-D, cooled by a TT Big Typhoon. I'm pretty sure I damaged this chip when I first got it; it runs at 2320 MHz.
~ an E6600 in a P5B Dlx, cooled by a Thermalright Ultra 120. Running with 2 GBs of Patriot PC5300. Right now, it's running at 3510 MHz.
Those are the rigs I have running in the "front" of the house. I also have an E6700 in another P5B Dlx, setup on a coffee table, in the living room, about 20' from these rigs, but it is going back this Saturday. Kind of a loaner... :)

In a bedroom that is overloaded with way too much crap, I have four other rigs running. The room is a disaster area, but based on the ( somewhere ) above mentioned theory it is definitely productive.
~ bottom left- an X2/3800+ in an Epox NF3 board
~ on the far right, in blue, an Opty 165 in an Ultra-D
~ to the left of that, in the Antec with the "front" off, an A64 3800+ in a Biostar t6100 board
~ in the back, can hardly see ( well you can see its' red DATA data cable :) ); a n Asus PC-DL DX board running LV Xeons.
( I really should clean up this room, but where do I put all that stuff? ) :)

Okay, a few more.
In my bedroom I have three rigs. I have an E6600, in a Gigabyte DS3, cooled by a TT Big Typhoon. Usually it runs with 2 gigs of Team Xtreem DDR667, but as I needed a stick for the "loaner" in the front of the house, it is currently making do with 1 gig. The rig is currently caseless.
Then I have what I call my "main machine of the rear of the house". No good reason for the name, other than when I'm online or whatever, while back there, I'm on that machine, as it has all the harddrives, etc. It sits on the left side of my desk. It is an X2/3800+ in an Ultra-D, cooled by a Thermalright XP-90. It uses good old BH-5.
To the right side of the desk is what use to be my main machine, or at least the case used to house my main machine. The case is a Coolermaster ATCS ( 201 ). I bought it along time ago, and I love the finish and style of it. Right now, it is serving as just a palin cruncher, but with a really zippy Opty 165 ( Ultra-D, TT BT, TCCD ) in it.
Thats' all. For now.
I have more, but need to take pics.

Guys. May I ask something if you don't mind? How does the Mrs / GF let you get away with this in the house? Kind of a bit messy to say the least. Man, she would have major words. Just curious.
RAMMIE you should really get a few cases :)
And I thought I have seen dusty pcs before, but yours tops all of them :)
Furthermore you are running all HDDs upside down, which is still not recommended. You can turn them 90degrees around in any direction, but running upside down aint that good for the long term..
