hey perkam it looks like your dream may come true :)

Hopefully the new x1950pro launching tomorrow has a similar vmod. Doesn't it use the same PCB as the Rev2 x1900GTs? Or at the very least the same digital VRM..
Can't wait!!!!
Yes, exactly what i think.Quote:

I dont know what cooling he used, but its impressive for 200$ card.
My X1900GT does 11k totally stable.Quote:

I voltmodded my card but the card becomes unstable.
Never see any artifact, but the card just shuts down after a minute ATITOOl scan on corespeed 670. I'm not the only one who has stability problems with a x1900gt rev2 voltmodded. My card stopped 10 minutes ago when playing oblivion for 1 hour on stock speeds.
Can't be heat problems, my card get 54 degrees under load.
Shamino first said i had to brake of the transistor, but i'm glad i didnt do that. Later he said i also could use conductive ink, but it isn't a success.
I wouldn't recommend to voltmod this new GT, it doesn't help much. :slapass:
Hi there i was wondering my rig is a AM2 X2 3800 65w, Abit KN9 and a Sapphire X1900GT and im only getting 7,3k in 2k5 and 13,5k in 2k3 anybody know whats wrong here? ive been trying to find out whats wrong for a couple of days already, but cant find out whats wrong, if anybody can help me here i would apreciate it alot.
Thanks
that Shamino's vmod doesnt work, card crashes every time, no matter what voltage you give:nono:Quote:

I know, my card was voltmodded, but the card powersupply couldn't handle it.Quote:

Shamino says this card has only 2phase power, so thats the limit.
how on hell that "hardmod" doesnt work then?
it just crashes in 3d whatever voltage i give to it..
i bet that mod is buggy
it just cant be that every card that i try crashes with more voltage than 1.13v
and it cant be because of that "2 phase power"
X1950PRO oc-s to 650mhz with 1.3v with same PCB
shamino doesnt have that card, he just did vmod with looking at pictures..
and that "theoretical" el crapo just doest work as it is supposed do..
If you voltmod the x1900gt/x1950pro then you have more volts. I had 1,32v and i could get highers speeds, but the card shuts down.
If you only have 2phase power, and the card uses more power then 2phase can provide, then the card will get unstable. Remember that the old GT or the XT has/had more phase.
The only reason why the x1950pro can get highers speeds, is the 80nm.
80nm means less power, and less needed volts.
Did you try the mod on he x1950pro??
If you are modding x1950pro, tell us about your experience with this voltmod please.
that 2 phase isnt the problem, card crashed because of bad vmod.
and it crashes without oc, just rise voltage and run 3d
and then it hangs.. it cant be because on that 2 phase when you dont
upper mhz but just voltage a bit
IF thats so, maybe the solution afterall is breaking that resistor off.
Thats what Shamino first told me, later he said i could use conductive ink.

If you want to look at the pcb then here are some pictures of my x1900gt.Quote:

Would be nice if you could show us 1,25v
Big pics :) .Quote:

I know they dont overclock great but I was hoping for more than that.
I'm gunna ebay it and get an x1950pro and mod a cpu cooler on there.
