Am I seeing things wrong or are you? I don't know but Zippy states that thier powersupply will withstand 1800VAC/s and in Finland it is at least required to withstand 3000VAC/min to be called safe. But and it's a big BUT, isn't there a major difference between 1800VAC PER 1 SEC and 3000VAC PER 1 MIN? Sort of in the same way as 10m/s being a higher velocity as 18km/u? I don't know if, for powersupply safety testing, you will be able to convert 1800VAC/s to 108000VAC/min, most probably not, but it does mean that this 1800VAC/s figure of Zippy is different measure then what this Finish standard measures. If you take this into account, then it sure makes it more viable for Zippy PSUs to pass the safety tests. But as I already said, I could be wrong on this one.Quote:
