I think the Enermax Galaxy has 6 6-pin molex connectors. 200watt was expected. But boy I really had my doubts about 12 GDDR chips. It looks and sounds stupid. But if it performs, what does it matter..

It's efficiency does matter! Why? Because they will have you buying again once they introduce the more efficient 1 Gig, 2 ram chip, smaller foot print digital PCB model, producing only 50 watts of heat using 1/3 scale Alu HS, using clocked at 500/1000 producing 8,000 on 3D06 (for example) that's why...Quote:

That card is just silly. Far too big, and the cooler doesn't look great.
I really can't believe they made the card this big.
Example,
6800GT/Ultra huge pcb design
7600GT small pcb design yet it owns the 6800GT.
If they tried harder i'm sur ethey would have gotten a smaller card
i hope they have aircooler for the GTX, then again i can wait for G80's GeForce 7950GX2 equivalent
shame about the lack of dual GPUs :(... the size of the core is massive though!! :O
Well if the One Core needs such a cooling solution as the Pre production is hinting towards then a Dual PCB design like the 7950GX2 would be a rediculous design with the current Solutions they look F*ing crap to put it mildly I doubt the Finished Production Model will look as messy as this PCB is far to big, looks like a beta Model
I guess that old "confidential" drawing wasn't too far off afterall

Wow this is just so stupid. Big, ugly, and power-hungry. The water cooler looks like crap. Can you use it with air only? I wouldn't trust some idiot from Dell putting together a water cooling system for dual 8800GTX's... I don't think my dad would even allow something that sucks that much power into the house, nevermind SLi.

I hope that the second PEG connector is not a necessity, if so, then this card will never be bought by me.
I call it WORK!
Well actually I just think this is probably not going to be the final retail version, problably an experimental PCB yet, just like the initial GX2. Hopefully they will shorten that length by the final product.
Nothing wrong with the coolers though, they look silent and well designed like all Nvidia coolers since the 6 series. Only the coulor and the plainess of it look bit :banana::banana::banana:ing ugly but that will go away by retail version.
It doesn't look silent to me, but I'm not really bothered by this as I'm planning on getting watercooling.
The card does look real indeed, suspect thing is that the guy who took the pics disassembled the heatsink and "forgot" to take a pic of the core.
I think the combined air/water solution for the heatsink is crap anyway.
Isn't it likely that he didn't show the die for NDA reasons?
He wouldnt be able to show ANY pictures of the card if it was for NDA reasonsQuote:

First thing I do with this card is remove the speaker :D
Looks like this card has a very high chance to be built just like the 7950GX2. Just look at the PCB the designs are way to similar. I sense another Prescott haha.
you should really put a not work safe on that or something... although its a drawing my boss here really didn't appreciate that all that much.Quote:

No idea why there are no core pics.
Probably because these pics were for internal discution and got leaked. whoever leaked them probably dosent have the card themselves and just picked them off a server somewhere.
God I hope not, but it might just be what they need to head in the right directionQuote:

To excede it you need a card so long that it comes with a dremel in the box ... to cut a slot into the front of your case so it can stick out :P
