My rd580 ES had oscon nichicon and panasonc iirc , you are pretty much right on./

That seems to be a rev. E "Marlin" reference board with RS600 chipset.
The RD600 reference board is a bit more suitable for oc...

well, 440 FSB in a reference motherboard and stock cooler very unestable are not bad... but not quite impressive. Even more when we are hoping a 500+ fsb monster.

So now the wait is until november? I thought it was supposed to come out mid October. I was waiting for the rd600, but I guess Im going to go with a the p5w dh.

Victor the CMOS clear is between the PCI-E slots. There are three jumpers side by side with a single one above it. The single one is CMOS clear. (I believe it is labeled JU600)

The three other jumpers (JU100-102) are to default the board at 333 FSB.

The board is really sweet. OC's very well.

OT but have to ask, since you tested all those cpus (i know you probably didnt spend to much time on each) but did u notice difference in temperatures, there is alot of debating why some are running hotter and some not

hehe its frustrating sitting back like a vulcher gobbling up small scraps of info on the RD600. Highly anticipated here.
