Awesome workspaces and xtreme rigs guys!!
corrupt, can you tell me more about you H20 rig? Specifically what radiator you mounted on the back of the antec 1030 case? That is exactly what I want to do. :)Quote:

but i sell refridgeration parts for the mobile market with the oem stuff i handle.
Bowman your setup and your messy room rocks ;) any geek would want a room like that.
Randis setup was very nice allso but didn't look so crazy as yours =)
I no where near that extreme. But i maybe build a chiller in the summer ;) Well if that happens i sure post some pics of it. Now i just have straight h2o i have hade the same block and pump for over a year so im little thierd of it.
well heres mine
www.pbase.com/dome/ma_case
dont be surprised at my young face im only 18 :D
well i like a case more then a mobo layin at the desk ;)
but we did some oc sessions without case ;)
cause swizzaland cooold in wintha :D
well, finally a few Pics of my computer...
;)
side view...
the entire area.
I just Figured out how to put multiple pictures together...
save alittle space here ;)
this is my waterchiller.
at the moment it's out of commission cause the pump is dead as far as I can tell, I really hate tearing this thing apart, so it's been sitting there for about a week.
I'll get to it sooner or later.
it does pretty well, getting about -20 for water.
nothing quite as extreme as somethings I seen here, but it's better then nothing.
:D
teh new water rig.
bowmans room cracked me up. Even the mouse cable has 5 knots in it ?
Here's my setup, I'm the antiBowman as I am pretty tidy. The 4 under one table are all duals, 15GHz under one table. Quantity not quality is my motto
http://www.aocb77.dsl.pipex.com/myrig2.jpg
No extreme cooling for me, just air cooling and I guess you have all seen a picture of varous fans LOL :)
Must buy a silver spray can to attack the CD-ROMs from 3 foot away.
Regards
Andy
PS The reason I am so tidy has an elbow that you can just see to the far left whilst she plays Freecell on my main machine, thus stressing a Barton at 2400Mhz to it's very core ...
Everything 4 a 4 node cluster with frontend. Get 'em clustered an run the 3dmark;)
Nice rigs guys! My current rig is only Xtreme in the sound of 9 fans make ;)
Bowman - your rig is the god of all rigs (bar some of the crays on this world ;))
TheDude, have you got the custom cooling unit up and running that you got of Bowman? i didnt see it, would be nice to see it in action
Mr Icee - nice rig!
well done guys :D

Don't have it yet...Bowman still needs to bench a couple of things before he ships it. I'm in no hurry...gives me something big to look forward to! I will use it just to see what OCs I can hit with certain CPUs...cooling the cpu and NB with it...gonna be fun!
Kunaak,
You get -20 with that setup? C or F ? Actual water temperature?
Kunaak,

Yes, it got to -20C on the videocard block, but thats only when testing it, I don't know what it gets when actually hooked to my videocard and northbridge.
I can tell you this though....
The Pump is dead cause the lines froze solid when I was leak testing.
I bought it on ebay for 200.
it cost alot to ship it, thats why it cost 200.
I modified it alittle to use better lines and such.
it worked perfect, till the pump got killed.
when I first got it, it was averaging -6C, but my friend took a look at it, and "refilled it", I don't really know what that means, but it works alot better now....
atleast, it did.
:(
I'll replace the pump soon.
TheDude......if i can get off my lazy butt ,i am going to get the unit out to you.i should get to bench the abit this weekend.then out she goes.
CCW........thanks for the kind words.
and to the rest of you.....ha ha i should have never showed off my messy room.i can see i will never live this one down.
:slobber:
Here's a pic of my current benchmark rig....
xp3000 @ 2823mhz (225 * 12.5) prometia cooled
epox 8rga+, h2o cooled NB, vdd=2.0v, heatsink on voltage regulator
2 x 256mb twinmos pc3200 (winbond) @ 6-3-2 cas2.5 2.9v
sapphire radeon 9800 pro @ 493/378, h2o cooled, vgpu=1.9v, agp=87mhz/1.6v
enermax 431w psu voltmodded
western digital 120gb 7200rpm SE drive
cooltech radiator, pump, and resevour
and a whole lotta fans...
I've only had the 9800 pro for a few days so far but it has been good for 21228 3dmarks... I have a 172w peltier which I haven't tried on this card yet and I have a few other voltmods left to do, so I think 21.5-22k is possible, if not more. I am not sure what's up with the memory because it did 3-2-2 cas2 at the same speed in an 8rda+...
Just a thought.
Who Here has the Most Xtreme Air Cooled PC?
:)
I would hazard a guess at Jeff, or he did have when he used to visit, haven't seen him around for a time. He's pretty high up the pi-fast times and was just getting into video card overclocking / 3dmark when last here.Quote:

Sorry for the delay, the rad at the back of my case is the thermaltake Aquarius 2 kit it has 2 resevoirs for some reason I'm taking the one off the back, that kit is just to cool the 9800pro. And the other is the koolance kit which cools my cpu and NB its a nice kit, the thermaltake kit is ok but the pump sucks it cools the gpu ok. I just wanted the gpu on its own loop.Quote:

cool, thanks for the info.. :)
this was my old watercooling Rig with a 8KHA+ and a XP2000+... very old i must say! :D
Now i use a Kryotech and a more "regular" watercooling system for the ATI.
Insane stuff guys, maybe I'll post some pics of mine so I can remind you of what a "normal" system looks like...LOL.
Have a look att mine, its quite normal excepts its outside...
