Additional Floppy power connectors on mobo
It`ll be alot of hasle to manage those two power cables just to get additional power to pcie slots
Don't blame the chipset or DFI, blame 300w DX10 cards.Quote:

But you are right, Victor wang already confirmed 2x8x on the RD600 reference board.
Well I think those specs are bogus... but anyway here are some "Offical" DFI RD600 board pics.

Notice... NO EXTRA Floppy!
What is that card in-between the audio out and the usb/ethernet.
I think that's the audio card. They did that with the s939 UT models too.
DFI TW.....Media samples should pop up any days now...followed by ES for reviewer then retail board.

I can see two... one above the front edge of each top PCI-E x16 slot. They could be fan headers but they're not afaics.Quote:

I've been waiting a long time for this board. Making friends with guys at e-tailers to make sure that I get one early. This waiting is killing me...

mm.. I'm also waiting for the post of this board's review at the DFI-Street..
the waiting is killing me.. :(
mm.. hope its cheaper than the P5W DH.. :hehe:
C'mon DFI, haste or I'll get the AW9 :D
I didnt blame anyone or anything, i just wish they would use molex and put it somewhere, where it is easier to route cables.Quote:

Haven't looked at Intels ATX spec pdf in awhile but Im pretty sure the molex part isnt a standard. Just that the PCI-E slot has to be able to produce a certain amount of juice. Having the molex there just lessens costs and makes room for other crap on the board.
IS that Dual Digital Voltage regulation
man i really hope this thing is all its cracked up to be because i want to build my next rig around it...
look how nice and clean it is around the cpu mount, perfect for phase change!
