I thought early batches were usually better overclockers...
I lined up for nothing, should've just waited out, better overclocker, better price...

well,
I'm about confused as CRAP now. I understand the C2 to be a chipset revision. but to WHICH chipset? 965 or 975?
I've got an early P5W DH, not sure which is the most 'current' revision. Can someone INFO me?
I have an E6600 that i'm pretty unhappy with. To hit 3.2 (357FSB) needs 1.5Volts (set in BIOS) and runs around 60C at 100% on water.
I'm about to build another gaming/LAN box on a Conroe. Think I'm going to use a E6400 with a P5B. Seems to be a decent OC potential there too. Should at least do 3.2 - now i just need to decide on an air cooler. Water cooling is nice for a PC that never moves, but this rig will be on the go a LOT. Prefer to keep it light and low maintenance. AIR cooling is best for that IMO.
resell and rebuy;)

lucky?
very truly yours,

that's quite unbelievable imo. I dont know why a lot of people standard of vcore is in windows with vdroop. My standard is what you can boot with and what you set in the bios.Quote:

EDIT and i know by your explanation this screen could have happened at the 'none' point but i assure you mine does no highlighting by itself
How do i find out if my mobo has rev C2? I mean where on the board does it say that? Near the NB?

You have to wait about 60seconds (see it count down in the bottom right).
The only way I can explain this not happening on yours is if the highlight color of your windows theme (eg when you open a menu and mouse over an item) is the same shade of green as that seen in Orthos/SP2004 :)
CPU-Z will tell you.Quote:

Here's how SP2004/Orthos can notify you of any errors it catches...Quote:

However, if your PC locks up before SP/Orth catches the error then it won't have a chance to do any of the above two things.
If you have the highlighting on, normal operation would show it moving. If it doesn't move then you'll know straight away that your PC has locked up :)
(As for the arrow, PhotoShop shapes tool makes it quick and easy :D )
- i thought it was my keyboard that did the numlock, good to knowQuote:

If users are running SP/Orth on a rig that isn't right next to them, for example across the room, then it's handy to have the highlight. It's easier to spot from a distance than it is to squint and see if the smaller details are changing.Quote:
