Done, Nice going.

my first time running this.

4.6ghz with mem 2000 mhz 8,8,8,21, UC at 4400mhz is highest I can bench this stable and that is with help of 3C outside temps. Cant even touch movieman's dual running at 3.85 on air, I would need 4.83ghz to match his 3.85...not happening on my cpu.
This is my first run ever at 4.2GHz. I just clocked it there minutes ago, and when i saw how cleanly it booted to Vista I said "I'm goin for it" and immediately loaded up Chess. This is not tweaked yet. Just wanted to immortilize it becasue it's my first run at 4.2GHz and my first run on water ever. You gotta love those temps! I'm glad to see this board running 200 BCLK also.
I'm gonna try bumping the UCLK and see if I can tweak it a bit. I need to see if it'll be stable at slightly lower vCore also. I jumped from 1.35 to 1.4v.
Well for what it's worth here is mine .

Here's mine, speedstep and all that jazz is enabled.
Got very very close.. This is very impressive considering the core count difference (8 real cores vs. 4 real cores+4HT). Little higher clocks or extreme cooling etc. and we have new race.
Updated all others as well.. i7's starting to dominate the top except for the octa's.
I want a Single CPU Octo i7 soooooo bad. With the depression we're in I doubt Intel will do it, but man if they did I'd buy one right now. I love these CPU's. They never cease to amaze me. Thanks Face for thread and keeping up with all this. I know it's alot of work to go through these threads and keep that stuff edited.
another run.
What's the relevance of this test ? What does it test in fact ?
Massive Calculations and Multithreaded performance. I just have a basic underastanding of it, and can't post about details, but these are extremely compex calculations that work a CPU very hard. You can see this by the temp increase. It loads all threads 100%.
It shows realtive speed index when compared to a P3 1.0GHz CPU to show just how massively powerful these CPU's have become in comparison.
It also shows the nodes/s completed. In the case of i7 CPU these normally range from 6-7 Billion Nodes/s and can get higher with the heavily OC'd and tweaked systems. Obviously w e have some very talented OC'er here so your gonna see some seriously high scores.
It's a great benchmark. It's one of the few that can truly take full advanatge and load all physical and logical cores.
still pushing it.
i'm going to download and run this test when i get home (in about 3 hours :D), and i'd like to know: is this program very dependant on ram speed/timings? or are we after raw cpu clock speeds? thanks in advance, i'll be posting tonight!
on air (intel cooler :D)

My bench taken from Deep Fritz 11. But I use Deep Rybka 3 64-bit engine when playing in www.playchess.com, around 200 ELO points (average) stronger than Deep Fritz 11.

Thanks for all the additions guys. :welcome:
List updated.
Keep pushin' it.
Hi, I'm here is the result from my new rig i7 920, Asus Rampage II Gene and some OCZ's. The actual CPU Frequency is 4481.4 MHz. The CPU is cooled by IFX 14 wich i polished like this V.

18-19C ambients downstairs, on water. When winter comes and can use 0C ambients, I maybe can catch movieman...unless he spends 5 minutes and boots up at faster clock.
