I talked to AFI about this pic, I think OPB ran them one at a time, and not at the same time... I want to see a midway shot.Quote:

I am not trying to flame you here Dinos, I just want to make sure we post correct times -- Master OPB PIs faster than I will either way.
Just post this:
http://www.sspmustang.com/ot/e6600/temp.jpg
New setup - new WR
Setup:
E6300 (don`t know the stepping - it`s lapped)
ASUS P5B (modded 0509 BIOS)
2x512MB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800
PCI video (some 2Mb)
Maxtor 160GB SATA
BlueStorm 500W (modded)
Vcore = 1.65V
Vchip = 1.61V
Vmem = 2.39V
Tcpu = -21C
Tchip = -30C
WR : 4012MHz
Still fighting it ...
Benches coming soon ...
it's just amazing to see this FSB and clock on a low-cost chip - great job :toast:
Got it 4GHz benchable :woot:
1M = 12.640s :hrhr:
Vcore = 1.65V
Vmem = 2.51V
nice!
cooling? DI ?
Yup, DI :D
BTW - new WR : 4092MHz (120% OC) :fact:
Sry, all - no 32M today - running out of DI (got just 1.8kg)
Keep pushing man :toast:
Is that DMM 1.65V?
Some guys are running 1.8-1.9V, so you might have a room to improve :p:
Yep, @4092 Vcore = 1.65V,Vchip=1.68VQuote:
Is that DMM 1.65V?
What for ? 1.7V+ is needed only when you go 4.5GHz+ (impossible w/E6300) ;) 1.65V is more than enoughQuote:

TaPaKaH @ Holy bravo :hehe:

Why it shouldn`t be true :confused:Quote:
You superpi 1m is true?
We don`t fake results here @ XS ;)
Just seen yer 1M@4GHz it`s very,very slow for that freq :( what mem.timings do you run ? did you tweak the OS ?
it was a tweaked XP for Pi, but your 1M is too fast :confused:Quote:

lol how in world did you pull off such a fast time :confused:Quote:

lol i need more info than that ;)
We need your tweaks :P
Can you link the modded bios? CAn you take a pic of your mem settings in the bios and post it? there are a lot of new options in that bios.
btw Great overclocking TaPaKaH!
All the tweaks I remember (than can be counted to improve the 1M time)
1)pagefile usage of my OS @ idle is only 31MB (it`s a mix of WinXP & Win2003)
2)"fresh`n`clean OS
3)during the 1M run the "Explorer" was turned off
4)ran 1M several times in a row
5)tight subtimings (as in P5B BIOS) 5-35-8-8-8-8
Not safe for work ... still working on it ... will be out next weekQuote:
Can you link the modded bios?
so did you compile a mix or somethingQuote:

It doesn`t even have such things as "Networking" and "Control Panel" :)
where can one get one of these:)Quote:

Magic OS? :p:
dinos22:
Actually P5b has 400 strap and maybe even 467 strap :) But sure time looks very good, usually allendale is like 2s slower for 1M
You have probably seen this already
