The 7x362 2:3 dual and single SuperPi 32m runs are great. SPi seems to like bandwidth. Congrats. But the 32m run run at 3.5ghz in the 1st post 7x500 1:1 seems less spectacular. Can you run it again ... please. :D

i didn't tweak it

But this vdroop malarky worries me. I could do the cdroop mod but i haven;t got a clue how to regulate it and what to set it at. lol . :banana:

yeah same here man but i am worried about killing the motherboard......................someone at another forum told me that vdroop mod in particular kills boards after a few months of use :confused:

haven't really tweaked yet.........here it is.........
with proper tweaks it should be around low 14m times

lol heheh yeah at's basically either a mobo or chip limitation after 530MHz FSB

this CPU will 100% do 4GHz on air the way it scales with voltage if it had 8xmulti but something is stopping it

some people say it's the motherboard and some CPU it's hard to say............

If one is going out to buy a board today, I have been reading your posts and checking the screenies of the Ds3 and HZ and the P5B and the HZ.

Here is my dilema, both boards are priced the same, should I go with the DS3 or P5B I will be adding 2GB of possibly HZ Gskill but more than likely budget will only allow the ZX 2GB Gskill kit with same timings but lower voltage. Is there a downside, or any thoughts on the ZX choice of DDR2 PC6400.

I am adding a retail E6300 to the mix and will be happing hitting 2.8-3.2 gonna use an Arctic Freezer 64 Pro to start cause I have it lying around nice and lapped. PSU is Antec Neo 550 and will add a Sapphire X1800GTO2 512 DDR3

Really appreciate your thoughts on board choice as they both seem to have done outstanding but I just need the push towards one. Biggest concern is the DS3 booting up off the bat with the HZ

Help cause my ordering finger is ready.....

Sounds good,looks as thought I am gonna order the DS3, btw I see you mounted a 50 mm fan on the NB, is this advised. Too bad the Ds4 is not available in Canada/USA......

I added the fan because the NB was so hot it would burn my finger if i touched it for an instant. The fan didn't help my overclock, but it makes me sleep better at night :-)

yeah i had a fan on NB and it was exactly what was needed :)

on the Asus i don't have one but the TT BT is doing the job there with heatpipe grills just under it
