DS4, E6400@3,6 Ghz with 1,45 Vcore currently 1 h 30 min stable (still running)
http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/9...orumxl2.th.jpg
Idle temps are round 38-40C~ and full load is usually 56-58C (sometimes they jump at 60C)
Prime stable at:
400x8 @ 3.2Ghz
DS3
vcore @ 1.365
L625A
The chip appears stable at 3.6 with 1.55 vcore, but that just runs too hot with my air cooling.
PI 1M stable at 3.7 with 1.55 vcore.
Still tweaking and playing with this thing so results to probable change ;)
Any idea why CPU-Z shows vcore at 1.4 when you have it set at auto? I've noticed others mention their boards doing this too....anyone have any ideas?Quote:

after flashing the bios of my DS3 I am now prime stable at 3.2 GHZ with STOCK volts, instead of needing 1.43 volts. It was not the chip at all, it was the bios. I will update with new clock speeds when I get em.

weird
nice man
anyone OCing week 26 (L626A batch)yet they've come into stock........would be interesting to see if they do well or not
Do me a favor and check what CPU-Z reports your voltage at under load, could you? I'm trying to get to the bottom of this possible overvolting at stock deal.Quote:

LOL goo dino22 u can do it :)
We will follow suite.....or do we all risk it...I might actually do it...sick of waiting..
Idle 50/dual prime 60-65!!! Temperature never goes above 53 when I'm playing games :). Also the ram timings are missed up. P5B deluxe needs a better bios. :stick:

Which batch is that?

On one hand it is nice that the board will automatically set the voltage to stabalize your OC however on the other hand this is not very accurate and every time you boot your PC it will fluctuate a bit. NEVER USE AUTO. I garauntee those people claiming to OC at default vcore will not even post if they set the VCORE from "normal" to manual 1.325.
Cool, I only tried F4e and F4 official, I'll try out F3 and see if it helps me any.Quote:

That makes more sense than a bois update making the cpu need less voltage

geee man you were the one that started the hype and we jumped in to tell you what was actually happening with your system and all of a sudden you've come to a conclusion rofl..............next time just read your own overhyped thread and you'll get the answer much quicker ...............wonder what you tested that took you a long 6 hours to realise that something's strange about the new bios lowering the vcore for 3.2Ghz OC by a wopping 0.1V+:   :exclaim:Quote:
