Only with the later bioses, I think it has to do with Intels speedstep tech (cool-n-quiet)Quote:

i'm asking you how much your max OC changed from first bioses to the latest ones
Max OC for that retail E6600 has not changed from 3.6GHz using later bioses, however when approaching 500MHz FSB max cpu clocks do reduce, as to what level I have not determinded.Quote:

Hi AndreYang & tanghiro - re-posting as a few of us here are asking / awaiting this info
( i ) Can either of you please post a picture of the completed mod ?
( ii ) Can you please advise the highest FSB you can get when using
just 1.65v for the MCH ?
Many thx,
Ben.
You reckon that the NB is that bad then?Quote:

Here is my elite image manipulation for 1.65V , is it right at all ?

My soldering skills are good but im not sure exactly what to do yet, and i think some other people need help understanding too.
Thanks very much lads :toast:
CAL930 posted another way to mod the vMCH in a thread about the Asus P5B DeluxeQuote:

Maybe easier to do this version of the mod
Can we have some informations about it ?Quote:

Hi AndreYang
How high a FSB were you getting with just 1.65v in the MCH ?
Ben
I presume this resistor is suitable:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...=SEO&U=strat15
Then solder the relevent pins (leaving the top one unconnected ?)
Once installed do you incease its resistance to max then turn it down until the voltage measured goes up to 1.65V ????
thanks
Hi AndreYang :)
P5B-Deluxe
The ClockGen Tools use it is possible.?
Is it possible to know how to you get such sample memory ? :stick:Quote:

P5B Deluxe didn't support ClcokGen and setFSB yet.Quote:
