If a board does not clock like you want it to and you decide to damage it and RMA it because of this.....thats plain fraud. XS has rules that cover this and posting your intention to do so is breaking those rules.
Asus can revise a board anytime they like...look at DFI and the Ultra D, something like 10 revs of the same board over its life...they all do it.
Regards the rev of my board here i think its just shipping rev with a small mod applied, I have a feeling the board will remain 1.65 thru bios unless you apply a hard mod which would invalidate any warranty...;)
