Thanks for the help, still a no go. What about dual priming with 2, sp2004. I can get CPU 1 to prime but CPU 0 will not (at the same time). I get no errores it simply stays stuck at test 1. I can get each to prime separately no problem.

E6700 OEM at 3.6GHz dual prime stable
PCI Express freq = 100
PCI = 33.33
Performance = Auto
FSB = 360
RAM = 900Mhz
Vcore = 1.5375V
Vmch = 1.55V
Vdimm = 2.0V
Vfsb = AutoHyperpath 3 = disabled
RAM Throttlig = disabled
EIST = disabled
Virtualisation = Enabled
I can get it up to 380x10 (haven't tried any higher) and it will run dual SuperPi 32M and all of the 3DMarks but it craps out of Prime/Orthos within seconds regardless of voltage.
At 3.6GHz my idle temps are 32°C and when under Orthos it reaches upto around 55°C (room temp is 23-24°C).

This is at stock clock. Use this to determine how well you OC your e6700. I figured out what was wrong. AM3 does not like ATI Tool/Cat 6.3 (shrug). As long as I don't use iit I am able to bench.

Again CPU at stock. VC Overclocked...This doesn't show the red screen I get using ATI Tool to OC it. Oh well.

Guys are you actually seeing an increase in FPS in games? For example stress tess on CS:S or Half Life: Lost Cost
Here is an example:
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...700/HL2_LC.jpg
again CPU regular clock
Use this to bench against it when OC so you can see if you are noticing increase in performance.
I'm topping out around 3.7 Ghz, this with 1.57v in BIOS
i stopped it but idk how much longer it will run, i'm going to try more in a sec
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...l/9970b2ae.jpg
had to clockgen from 3.46
I noticed Games do run alot smoother than with my old 2.9ghz opty, esp Oblivion.
Absolute, getting pretty toasty. Anyone know at what temp these chips throttle down at?
I believe it's 60.1C I believe
Temps are way off, i think it's closer to 50c :D
Here we go with 1.60 volts set in BIOS

So what ram frequency and timings do you run ATM ?
I have 26° ambiant , so I won't try 1.60 v Absolute_0 :nono: :nono: :p:

These are values which are established in BIOS, real on 0.02V below in range 1.5V - 1.6V in BIOS.
So when I set ATM 1.51v in bios , my real vcore is just about 1.49 or just depends on what bios is used ?Quote:

Do you think pc probe enough accurate to show vcore ?Quote:

I need 1.55V for 4Ghz on water, that's why I'm asking. Same cpu btw, but Intel Bad Axe 302 modded as mobo.
Still have to upload my screens. I'll post it later :)
