Since the TForce 590 SLI Deluxe also has similar 2.3V jumper, do you think the same mod can be applied to the mobo?
Btw, I'll be getting a TForce P965 pretty soon... :toast:
The same mod should work with all Biostar boards with similar overvoltage jumper. The original resistance should be checked before doing it thou.Quote:

sounds like a great board. Can't say I've seen much for Biostar boards for sale here in Canada though.
Ahh, forgot to mention the MOD - impresive !!
Any other mods, simply as hell ??

If I boot with 10x multiplier CPU-Z will display 6x - 10x multiplier.
If I boot with 7x multiplier CPU-Z will display 6x - 7x multiplier just like in those screenshots.

My board can do Pi @ 8*490 , ram 1:1 in aircooling. But i cant do more than 500mhz , with 6X 7X ... . Maybe it s because he waterccoled the chipset, mine is stock cooled with a7n8x 's like heatsinck :D
is this a chipset limitation or what for 965 not to be able to run below 1:1 ratio :stick:
Back when I was looking at 939 and AM2 for a new build I was actually shocked to see the awesome OCing reviews their $75 754 and 939 Tforce boards were getting. Glad to see them delivering on the Core 2 duo side of things also.Quote:

Stilt, you were running SLI on the Biostar according to this post: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...8&postcount=64
Did it work right out of the box with Big Sams' modified drivers?
And are the cards detected in the 4x slot? It only uses about a third of the connectors, so its hard to imagine.
If that works without much performance loss, the Biostar will be THE budget board to get :)
SLI works with any driver which has the internal checks disabled.Quote:

Of course the board must be made physically compatible first ;)
so it's 130€ ?
