Nice core on that card.. that memory sucks, though.
Changing the stock cooler really helped my memmory results.Quote:

i dont think the stock cooler is the problem. even at 10mhz Oc on the mems still lock hard my desktop. i dont want to believed that the mems are broken or damaged with my initial OC.:( :(
hope not but it might be true.Quote:

i have aiw x1900 and accelero x2 (modded to fit in aiw),
accelero max rpm (about 2000), temp in idle 39-37C on core, ambient 38C,
max with stock voltage on memory : 585Mhz, with 2.16V ~595mhz, buuu:( even with ~2,2v i have about 605mhz......
core with 1.3V about 665mhz , with 1,4V about 670-675mhz...then temp reach in ati tools 60C on core max, 68C on voltage regulator.......
If i overclock fast mem from stock 477 to for example 570mhz graphics crach, artefact on all monitor.....i could overclock to for axample 570 in steps for 20mhz add....
EDIT: ofkoz i have 80mm fan on vreg
EDIT2: very strange ....... i put off cooler (X2) and add some thermal past on memory , then again in ati tools 2.16V/2.16V and ... and it find my max memory on 700mhz!!, on 706mhz system frozen and i restarted comp....after restart aagain it find max memory abaout 585-605mhz :(...... WFT?
some tips for me:( ?
WTF........
one time ati tool stop on max mem ~700mhz 2.151V/2.151V , restart comp and this same voltage max 600mhz.......Now..I dont know what i must doing.....:banana::banana::banana:..
Sometimes moving up slowly helps, you could always try more voltage on ram, I run 2.25 on GDDR4 ;)
i like ur "web surfing rig" man i didnt know mozilla firefox was that gfx intensive.:DQuote:

He ran it @ 1.3vgpu and 700+ core for a few months daily, and it will not output video now.
The whole time he had a waterblock on it (temp never getting to 50c) and fans over the mems and vregs.
I know my card will artifact @ CS:S when it gets warm, even under stock speeds and voltages,(works fine @ 100% fanspeed ~45c load) so this is just a warning to other people who like to run 700+ core every day :) He also ran 2.25 on his ram every day.
