they wont drop support for a long time on ide but its flippin retarded they are only using 1 IDE channel. i cant stand running my dvd reader and writer on the same channel. i always seperate them so i can burn and do other things as the same time.
or do real time dubbing.
hell what is there maybe 1/2 dozen sata dvd drives on the market right now ? if even that many ?
im rather surprised lite-on and others havent made a larger move into sata drives.

but right now this board here is kickin some arse on the fsb... lets just wait to see some other results on the other aspects.

not to mention the fact that you can no longer run ide drives and dvd at the same time unless you go and buy a 3.5 to 5.25 drive bay adapter to mount your hard drive right under the dvd and run them master slave..
1 ide is dumb and i hope to god they change it soon.
