Yes of course that's the reason ;) But wether or not Kentsfield will be sub $1000 on launch is not decided yet, I think. When Intel sees that a lot of people are willing to shell out the cash for let's say a X6800, they'll probably increase their price next time. When they see that hardly anyone want s to pay $1000, they'll probably not. It's a little bit the same as with high end video. Few years ago nobody would've thought many would be buying +$500 graphic cards :)Quote:
