It's far more pathetic to still be hooking floppy drives up to new rigs then it is to hook up large capacity IDE hard drives. It's the year 2006. We should not still be seeing the need for floppys, just like we shouldn't be seeing new PC games released on CD. Make USB drives bootable and allow them to "emulate" floppy drives if they are needed that badly to load RAID drivers.
I'll buy a board that has 2 IDE cables... no need to waste another 75-100 bucks on a backup drive when I can just use the hundred bucks to get a better motherboard.
