You'll be fine with the Storm Rev 1. It's not worth spending $80 on Rev.2 if already have Rev. 1.
simply amazing, wonderful work
you should def. stencil a huge skull on the grill of that giant fan holder on the top :O it looks great!
dont forget to mount a giant plasma screen in it!
good good good good !!!!:slobber:
my compliments !!!
I thought i was mad putting a 172x150 Papst in my case... I love it!:D :woot:
Sheesh, that's amazing. Very well done. Intricate, yet so clean...and very bright. I like it.
Thanks guys! Already thinking bigger for the next one.
I got some guts and took the top off the FX-60 and boy did it make some difference.. Will post pics of the chip and the aftermath soon enough.
haha holy hell that certainly lives up to the title
Mind explaining how you synced up the HDD access with the cathodes?
nice case
Easy.. Its done with the light controller.. It has the option to light up whatever light with the HDD and also the sound card. http://www.frozencpu.com/lit-123.html
Ha, this seems to be the easy way out, I think I'm going to pick one of these up.. thanks!Quote:

Love the final look--great worklog!
Wow thats insane! How in the hell do you take a board out if you have to without trashing it? Infact how did you get them all in? hehe nice!
I was thinking about putting 2 systems in one but ya already got me beat! hehe

Unfortunately the watercooling will be remote since there is no more room in the box...LOL--shoulda gone bigger--maybe on the next one.
Once again--very impressive work, especially considering you have no proper work space.
sweet rig, but what do you do with 4 computers in that small of a space besides make a server?
Kickass man! Nice extreme and functional! Yep.. Just like how i was thinking while in the middle of this case.. I should of thought and planed ahead for thermo cooling in the future! Never big enough :(
Nice design though.. Simple is best!
Yeah I started off thinking I could mount them one way and now it's another--gotta love that in a major project. This rig is for folding on eight OverClocked cores--that's all it does...lol (my little contribution to the efforts for Stanford) but if I were to re-do it (hindsight being twenty twenty) I would have allowed for massive Vcards...then I could have some fun woth a few friends (instant LAN party..)
Not trying a hijack here--just sharing my enthusiasm for major scratchbuilt madness....
I notice you going big and open, and I keep cramming more and more in less and less--two ends of a spectrum. Both are interesting challenges--I like the idea of completely ignoring the usual case designs and going with the flow--in this case it would be convection flow...LOL...as both of our cases take advantage of pulling air up through the components.
Sweet build eclypse.
That's wicked cool.
Actually, my dual lubic tower case is being slowly converted to a folding system, in which I plan to house 2 complete systems.
See here.

First off SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET case!!!!! GOOD JOB!!!
Second of all, just as a maybe for your future endevours. You could try connecting the out vent directly to a vent that leads outside your house. So you can reduce noise and maybe reduce heat in ur house? lol I dunno just an idea i'm putting out there.
1 question tho. Why didn't you just put the fan facing upwards from the case? Wouldn't that have made things a lot easier and maybe smaller?
wow, thats awesome. you did an awesome job on it. Must be real nice to look at :)
Titties and beer......I think that sums it up. Great work, bro.
holy batcave batman!
does that thing brew coffee and heatup PotPie's also ?
thats awesome man! awesome!
Amazing...
