Looks like pricing is 1295 for Reg and 1745 for Deluxe in Kronens. That translates into $212 and $294 in US dollars.

Does "Ubekreftet 14.06.2006" translate into an expected avail. date???

Yes... and Komplett informs me about scheduled delivery 04.06.2006 for my order. If that's a "lie".. I will cancel and order from PSData (they are usually cheaper than Komplett at most items)..

This (FSB limit) is usually a choise made by those coding the BIos... Lotsa examples before that this may be changed with at new BIos release..
For me "only 400FB" is enough though...

And Intel & SLI (nForce) has a rather bad reputation... nothing to blame Asus for though..
Not everyone (including me) that care much for SLI either..

Too much information here. I've got a couple of very basic questions...

Which Chipset supports Core 2 Duo CPU's ... 965? 975? 975x?
And which out of these three is the best for Core 2 Duo's?

Secondly, does the P5B Deluxe support ATI Crossfire ?

I do understand that the board will be out June End, and cost around $294. It's looking pretty good for me.

I've been reading that P965 is performing better than i975X in memory benches and stuff. Anyone actually had a chance to play with them both side by side?

I read that somewehere as well (it is somewhat logical) can't wait for the reviews:cool:

I bet Intel will "silently" release at NEW top performing chipset for Conroe, that later on will be the only one supporting Kentsfield before the next Bearlake chipsets, same as it happened with 975X boards

Well the ECS description says no ide, but the pic shows 2 (one may be floppy) but it still has atleast one according to the pictures.

I'm pretty sure that lime green thing on the board is for PATA ...

It's just a mistake in the article, while the ICH8(R) doesn't support PATA, most mobo makers add PATA support through an additional chip.

edit:
Typing too slow ... I agree, looks like one floppy, one IDE.

the green one is IDE and the black one Floppy.. Fairly easy to spot.
But it's ECS so.. who care ? :p:
