Lol, I love how it got up to 4997mHz, but just couldn't make it to 5000. I did a little math and you will need slightly over 5.15 gHz to break into the 9s range.
My 2.53 P4 gets 59.8s at stock. I don't get why you are so much slower, single channel DDR maybe? TAM is almost 6x as fast as I am and not quite double the clocks, so Conroe is 3x as fast clock for clock compared to my P4.Quote:

What u expect from a socket? performance difference between AM2 and S939 is 2-5% and this is not bad.Quote:

Im happy to see impressive results from Conroe. These results are giving hope that next CPU from AMD will be even faster and we will be able to choose.
This is from another planet, no other explanation lol
This has to be one of the most impressive cpu architectural advances I've ever witnessed.....and I've been at this a long long time. Intel's new design is simply incredible.
That math is about pure clock power. To score lower one needs some software tweaks, I can't stress that enough. It makes my stomach curl to see such power unharnessed :rolleyes:Quote:

NICE! Can't wait to see times in the 9.xxx range :)
OMG this is incredible :slobber:
Please run some 3dmark!
It's team japan we're talking about, I think they now better than anyone to tweak the software to get low superpi numbers.Quote:

Mother of God!!
insane clocks and resultz
Incredible!
You can be the first to broke the 10"!?:toast:
sure friend he will:D
congratulations tam;)
Its likely the background junk I had (and have) running. I haven't tried to run it for max speed since there's really no point. My ram is dual channel (2 Sticks 512 Corsair XMS3200C2-3-3-6)... Either way, Conroes are sick fast and I want one (I doubt I'm the only one :))Quote:

I want to see some 3D scores with that high of clock speeds...
I can see some record numbers fallen quickly and followed right after by the fall of those record breaking numbers....
I'm one of the *I think it's badass* but I won't really be satisfied until I have it within my grasp kind of people. From the looks of it though i'll be going for woodcrest all the way:toast:Quote:

Crazy clocks, it's a shame the mobo blew up before you could break the 5GHz mark. :( Awsome none the less!
:toast:
You're joking right? TeamJapan knows every "software" tweak under the sun plus some. :rolleyes:Quote:

It's GREAT to see TAM still at the top of the game... he's one of the legendary CLASSICS!
:toast:
the japanese win again
70k @ 3d01 or 9,xx @ spi ?
:)
