Let's hope nothing is broken (cpu, mobo,..) :(
maybe it's something similar to DFI boards and the bios is dead?
any possibility of getting a new bios chip?
DFI was at least quick with sending new bios chips ^^
I'm sorry to hear the first try on really cold temps was no lucky. Really waiting for your results ;)
hoho.......
Well done OPB, very very very nice super_pi results !
admire ur skill in tweaking ;)
Now... maybe the mobo is the limit :D
umm... all the boards I have work fine when FF is showing (got and 8rda+ behind me displaying FF as I type, bro is playing freelancer on it).
maybe try booting with the evap at room temp then powering on the cascade while in windows?

Is conroe gonna boot at any LGA775 board just the matter support or not?
sigh, just wanna make sure conroe is not dead.
Board would be not a problem since it can be exchanged though.
hope you will be back on the run soon, hopefully cpu is alive,
ouch ya...hopefully its the board or the bios and not the cpu
conroe can only be supported by Intel 975xbx v304 or other 965 mobo available right now.Quote:

btw: a LGA775 chip is very strong :D
maybe water on ur mobo is the problem. leave the mobo one or two days till it 100% dry. then... try ag. ;)

I am so glad that the board is dead, which means at least my conroe is not dead ...
this time, I will do better insulation and get the conroe go under -100c for sure.
thank you for those who cares about my hardware.
I will get extreme results for you guys when everything gets back
and I will have step by step intel bad axe how to waiting for the person who need it.
Best Regard,
OPB
Well, if you need a new board, then is the MSI board that conroe uses obtainable? ;) Happy that the Conroe is safe.Quote:

good to hear that "only" the board is death. hopefully the conroe is alive. (maybe, like your fx with the broken pins, clocking better as before) :toast:
btw. yhpm :)
Hi Onepagebook when will your Bad Axe bible ... errr "step by step how to" be available?
Thanks in advance.
The msi 975x 2.0 looks good. I don't know if the rev.2 is already for sale ?
glad to here youre conroe is ok , looking forward to -100 :D
That's a relief. Glad to hear Conroe is ok. Looking forward for -100c results :D
Good job
Nice to hear your chip is still alive buddy... BTW not good news for the Bad Axe & the subzero users; it looks like a very fragile board :(Quote:
