BTW I love this memory modules. I don´t think I would get them (I just like the heatspreaders), but is really nice at least having the option of getting them. And I don´t like war, paintball or wargames. I just think they are funny looking, and funny is good :p:

I don't hate the guy i'm sure he's a nice person but I hate the Fatal1ty merchandising. His picture does make me want to fall out of my chair lol.
I am very happy to see OCZ doing something different its just the the camo doesn't do it for me. At least not on ram.

Doesn't it ruin the whole camouflage effect when you use a bright green PCB that doesn't even come close to matching the green you're using on the gaudy heatspreaders...

Yeah, I feel the same way. The paint job doesn't look bad, but the pcb kinda ruins the look.

Buying an entirely new batch of PCB's when they have tons lying around isn't that economical really. Especially since anything to match the spreader would likely need to be custom made. Since they are just 'testing' out the waters atm, hopefully colored PCB's are in the future if they sell well.

hmm they look ok nothing more nothing less.

the point is camo colours arent exactly what one would expect on RAM sticks.

If i myself would get them depends on what chips are on them and ofc their price.
I wouldnt pay extra for them camo colours if i could get the same sticks for less.

But im more the man that likes his ram sticks in 1 shiny colour.
nice black sticks (the kind of black that doesnt shine)
Or Dark red etc stuff like that.

i could ofc also say i like my RAM like i like my women: BUTT NAKED.

Sorry, I meant PCB manufacturers. I was thinking back to some older motherboards. My socket 7 board reminded me of it.

hmm why not try like a lighting theme on the heatspreaders with something like blue/dark blue pcb's if possible. I personally dont like the camo look if going into mybox unless the rest like case was camo as well.
Maybe offer some ramsinks on them with a plastic type covering with insertable graphics to suit to the user?
Just looking at the idea gave me these. I opens the door to "styling" with the rest of you computer if you looking for a complete "theme".

OCZ really ought to re-take the picutes of the product because in my opinion YOUR picture makes the ram look a hell of alot better than what the demo pics show.
