   CONGRATS!! AWESOME!!
From what week is your FX-62?? Is it from 0604, because I think AM2 after 0614 should be much more OC friendly!

OMW that 3DMark03 score is just crazy !!!
Kingpin you said that the C3 uses elpida chips???:D
watch out for epox, they want to be the nÂș1 mobo manufacturer in amd world.Quote:

:)
About the Epox thing... if they had VLDT control and higher VDIMM options for the NF4 boards, I wouldnt have went DFI...now these voltages are adequate on the AM2 boards, if I move to AM2, it`ll be with Epox. Brilliant boards
:)
K
on nf570 vcore goes up to 1.7v and vdimm 2.5v :)Quote:

Great Score :D
"easy" - especially VGA clocks are easy to made :D
Congratz
I think that makes the current available hardware WR :D No flaming, I'm also drooling with Conroe, but it's good top benchers are using AM2 too ;)
BTW could you tell the FX-62 stepping? Is it coldbugged?
I bet those 0608 0609 0610 0615 165s are potentially FX-62 just plugged over 939s :DQuote:

Well, for one I am not running any single component in this setup below temps that a cascade can produce. "Ln2 cooling" doesnt mean -196c ;)...check out the ln2 forum there is lots of good info there on this topic.Quote:

Last good amd epox board I used was 8rda. That was a dandy.
NVIDIA is strongly committed to enthusiasts now and I'm pretty sure all the high end boards from diff manufactures will all have similar bios's with available voltages and bus speeds. We all win this way with more potent choices for solid oc'ing mobo's. Less time spent farking around finding the right components/setup and more time benching.
Also why did you mention Jason? He used DI on his a64 setup.
To be honest, we should wait for both top cpus Conroe XE and FX-62 (or whatever it will be FX-64...) and also great OC MBs for both platforms like DFI NF4/Expert/Venus was for AMD. Then we will see :)
If nothing else, those card clocks and those CPU clocks (on that cooling) are just insane....add them together and you get that very nice WR.
Congrats KP! :toast:
Congrats k|ngP|n:clap:   :toast:
As always, you are the top of the world:D
As you said about mobo, there is no accounting for one's tastes..
If it doen't work as expected, let's make it works;)
fredyama
Conroe v Epox motherboard .. that's an interesting battle that I would never have dreamed of !
I think I'd go Conroe + DFi/Asus+ nvidia Intel chipset to be honest....
Regards
Andy
Nice start Vince, I will give AM2 a go to see whats up.
My 6400C3 samples are unreal, I can hit DDR900 3-3-3-9 @ 2.2v no problem. Did you get samples of the 8500C5 to try memory speed? The C3 should go very fast when backed off to ~ 5-5-5-15
AMD will shift for high bandwidth where Intel has always dominated, we should see some sick Sandra memory benches passing all Intels current DDR2 records easily. Intel still owns the multimedia it seems.
Great to see AMD fighting back and not without succes.
Awesome scores as always k|ngp|n. :toast:
Very nice to see a new brand like Foxconn (i've never heard of them before) around, a welcome change after over 2 years of DFI dominance.
Looks like they made a solid product. :)
sweet. not an AMD fanboy, but jut plain hate Intel, so great to see some competiton!!
....
what do you think you can get the FX-62 to stable?
