New revision nForce4 from DFI

Looks 8 pin or 6 pin to me :s

edit: hmm maybe 4-pin with black components either side. Its hard to tell to say the least :p:

Noticed both those things too. :toast:

It's 8 pin like on some Intel boards, needs an 8 pin connector on your PS or it won't work. I had one of my PCPC 510's moded to be ready.

Crap..this will not be out till Oct..no hel pf or me now....

wonder if I should go ahead and get DFI now..I really hate this..sure suggests they have an issue with their current product...too many changes here for simple fine tuning

what is the floppy connector for on the NF4, still got me stuck, i didnt hook it up when i built my cause i didnt know that was what it was.

It's for extra power for SLI systems.

DFI better hurry up because that Sapphire board looks MONEY

dont know if it is nf4, but what makes you think it will be better? maybe is a cost saving new revision without much improovement, and no 4v option (way to many problems).

i could be completely wrong but you never know (happened with lanparty nf2 the ones from taiwan were better than the ones from china).

you must be drunk it says nforce 4 right on it hehe its just laid out the same.
im sure this board has all the hardware features that the ati chipset one does. 4vdimm is fine on it because it uses a different type of volt regulator that is cool.
