However now for some reason it will only prime at max 2610mhz 1.55v. Running stock volts of 1.36v it does 2430mhz.
Nothing special really :(
^ Nothing special, but still better than the E6 3000+ rock I got. 2430mhz w/1.5v is all it would do, any voltage above 1.525v and it would lock up or blue screen in prime. And no, it wasn't the 520W Skyhawk PSU I used because all the rails were flat line stable on the multimeter. :shakes:
Sold it for scrap.
I ordered a 3000+ from Newegg but got a 3500 by mistake. Here is what I got so far. I have a DFI Lanparty NF4u-D, WC, and GeiL One TCCD PC4800 on the way so im thinking I'll be able to get more out of it. IHS is removed as well.

What different stepping for E6 LBBWE or LBBLE ?
So would I be better off getting the 3200+ bp e3 stepping from ewiz over the bw e6???
i think so last little while i had a 0528 e6 max stable less than 2500, and a 0536 e6 that from first few tries seems even worse, but i have a 0533 e3 and it seems stable at 2600 1.55ish and i primed it for an hour at 2800@1.65 hehe stoped since temps got to 55c :)
was the 3500 in a 3000+ box? or was its newegg's mistake?Quote:

I thought that all venice 3000+ and 3200+ chips that are 0530, maybe even earlier week, are E6. Are you sure yours is E3? Does it have BW on the chip anywhere?Quote:

Hiya,
I messed some with bios'es and stuff and got +2800 mhz out of it.
Soon I'm going to format again and I'm quite sure that I'll hit 32s superpi ;)

quite good cpu but mine just loves the vcore (a little to much :( ) and I don't wnat to give it more dan 1.7.
@ 2700mhz with fresh windows I got 32secs, and after 3 at that +2800 I won't reach that :p
I've just received an E6 LBBWE 0532FPAW
Anyone tested it yet? I'm going to put it in a DFI Lanparty UT Ultra-D
I hope at least 2.5Ghz
What HTT can I expect with OCZ4001024ELDCGE-K (BH-5 UTT)?
The proc is 3000+, I can't post a pic as I'm at work ;)
