Looks like it was a nice LN2 bench day, do all of team japan mem's live next a LN2 storage ? :D
1M SuperPi stable does not mean that your system is overall stable (e.g stable to run 3D mark)

lol 4.1 -- madness! These chips really pack a punch.
Wow, insane. Cant wait for a 4.2ghz run. Also, cant wait for 17's. I never thought we would see below 20's, but I was obviously wrong.
Sorry if this is already asked and answered but where can I find 10001.023 version BIOS for my P4C800-E? Thanks.
Woah 4.1 so they've overtaken the fx range in terms of clock speed :o

excellent! I feel their pain, though... the 17 multi is a bit too HIGH, but the 16 multi stretches the ram too thin.... when someone finds the "golden" 780, or 790 in Q4, 05... they can try 16 x 265 = 4240... surely enough to break into 17s!!Quote:

prteamjapan i really love your contribution here posting day after day results from those japan superpi legends....:D i always saw them as something sooooo far away from us....i remember all the days when i just could see their times when i enter superpi japan ranks and wait for all the updates that cpulloverclock nicely made for us "non-japan-speaking-people".... :p: now we can almost feel what all of them think....and that is really GREAT....so a million thanx to you....
by the way i'm learning japanese with my girlfriend...we just started to study hiragana and katakana tables....i'm wondering if lessons 2 and 3 will be superpi tweaking and ln2 cooling techniques.... :D

Did we ever find out if the first screen was fake? Cause it looks fake as hell to me. Later ones look better though.
Actually I doubt that. There's one thing running superpi with LN2 and there is one thing running 3dmark, the latter is far more difficult.Quote:

BTW, New Beetle is the first member to get 18s amazingly with his ASUS P4P800-SE as reported the other day.

Well yes, the 4ghz was amazing.. But the oc went so fast on this chips we are allready @ 4150 stable so i think these chips would give more mhz in a shorter time. Just wait on someone that gets a killer chip.
@Fred,
Can you tell me why literally *nobody* runs those LN2-cooled Dothans for Holicho's 32M Ranking? Do Kaz-n, TAM, New Beetle, Duck, memesana or others have any results there? Or they just sadly don't run SPi32M at all? That's at least what it looks like :(
I am not sure whether they have ever tried to run SPi32M as they are striving to get 17s SPi1M atm.. ;)Quote:

So running 2x512MB instead of 2x256MB is about 0,1s faster in SuperPI when using a Dothan?
When I compare TAM and duck their results (both at exactly the same clocks) TAM is 0,124s faster. And the only real difference in their setups is the mem.
Or do the memtimings make the difference?
TAM runs CL2.0-2-2-5-4-A-A-A and duck CL2.0-2-2-5-4-E-A-A
Both are awesome scores though :slobber:
when running 2 x 256mB set to "Enable" and when running 2 x 512mB set to "Auto", that's the difference between TAM and DUCK timings.Quote:
